Cindy, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful setting, the beach, wildlife, and found the home comfortable and clean upon arrival. I am sorry to hear about your experience with the hot tub chemicals. I do wish you had contacted me during your stay, as I would have been happy to have my husband come over and check the hot tub and correct any issue. We certainly want our guests to be able to enjoy all of the amenities. The hot tub does have a lid, and it is important to leave the lid off for a period of time to allow the water to air out before using it. Had we known you were experiencing an issue, we would have been happy to help. As for the lovebugs, unfortunately, they are seasonal here and are something we have very little control over. As quick as they come in, they go away. While I completely understand that they may have been an inconvenience during you stay, I was disappointed to see that this contributed to an 8/10 rating, particularly since lovebug season is a temporary, naturally occurring condition and not something we can prevent on the property. Thank you again for your kind comments about the property and our responsiveness. We enjoyed hosting your group.

Please know that we own the beach to the mean waterline and would have had those drunk people removed if we’d been made aware. Just let us know next time and we’ll take care of it right away.
