Enjoy your stay in this Historic, large, peaceful, fully renovated Manor. This home consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with modern, fully equipped kitchen, butlers pantry, 2 stocked coffee bars new AC, blue tooth speaker, mood lights and more! All rooms are fully furnished for your comfort. Includes a Private, large yard, in a country like setting but has many amenities in walking distance. Lake access with docks and boat launch across the street. This home is near Legoland, Polk State College, Lake Maude Park with nature walk, modern playground, picnic areas, and a short drive from many sports complexes, hospital, and event venues and centers! Only pre-approved events allowed with additional event fee for over 25 people on property. Parking over 6 cars is available at an additional fee. Unapproved parties will be charged up to $1000 fine.

Great communication with the host , house was clean and has lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay. The park across the street had loud music playing at night which isn’t the host’s fault. Coffee bar was well stocked and kitchen is very nice.

Thank you so much for leaving me a review Seth! Sorry about the park music. Floridians love they're car stereos and like to show them off at times. Just not always respectfully. I'm surprised they were there past 10:00. Being in Polk county, the police usually do rounds at the parks around 10 Pm. I do apologize for that and thank you for being understanding.

Building had nice amenities and was clean upon arrival. The host has cameras on the inside which is a little invasive and the neighborhood is not the best. Neighbors were really loud on Saturday night.

Thank you for your review Bruce. The cameras you are speaking of are facing to the exterior front and back porches, NOT interior and are only used for me to monitor remotely while no guests are there and to make sure they get the main entry open to get inside. After I see the camera notification that the guests are inside, they are turned off. I turn those cameras off during guest stays. Only exterior parking lot cameras remain on. I'm sorry about someone playing loud music on Saturday in the neighborhood, a drive by, or park across the street. I can not control that. I hope you enjoyed your accommodations other than that.

Beth was a sweet lady to talk too and quick in responding to my concerns. The home was BEAUTIFUL and very clean, everything that you get at a hotel, I got and more at this lovely home. The location was 13 minutes away from my niece wedding, Perfect! comfortable beds in every rooms and accommodating to my big family. Every space in this home had great sayings on the wall that made you feel at home. We stayed for two nights and it was worth every penny spent in this wonderful home. Thank you Beth!

Everything we needed was there.Oh, the iron was a bit dirty a showed up on my white shirt…. That’s the only small disappointment that could certainly have happened at my own home.

Beautiful House

This property was ideal for our stay. It was warm, inviting and beautiful inside that has been all updated. The inside did not look like a 100 year old plantation home, but the feel was there. Our group would stay there again if ever we were back in the area!

Host was attentive and welcoming. The home was clean and very large. Unfortunately, none of the tv's worked. The host came over but each time the tv's stopped working. The kitchen is beautiful, however minimally equipped. There is a bbq grill. Very large property. Over all excellent stay but no tv's were frustrating. We would stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am so sorry you couldn't figure the TVs out during your stay. They are smart TVs and have the option of Roku or Firestick with many apps and channels. We tested and they worked properly before we left and also worked for the next guests who checked in after you. Sometimes those used to cable, seem to struggle with the TVs with apps. I strive to please and accommodate for a 5 * guest experience and welcome any suggestions to make guests stays better in every way.

Airshow Headquarters

Me and friends stayed 4 nights while at the annual airshow. The house was wonderful and the host was always prompt to answer questions. We enjoy cooking out nightly rather than fighting restaurants and that worked out well. No complaints and will definitely stay there again!

Home away from home for a wedding.

Perfect place for us. Very clean. Plenty of space. Felt like home. It was a chilly weekend but the house was warm and the “fire place” made it feel comfy. There were some thoughtful decorations for the thanksgiving week. Great communication with the property manager.

Great Vacation!

Great location! Attended an area wedding plus went to Orlando and Tampa. No surprises here! Very spacious, clean and well decorated. Enjoyed looking at the art work as well as choosing a different room to relax in as the week went by. Beth communicated very well ensuring all needs were met. A very sincere caring person!

Wedding Week

I cannot say enough nice things about the hosts! So helpful! The house was spacious, and perfect for the family of the groom as we prepared for the wedding. Convenient to all the emergency shopping runs we needed for rehearsal and wedding events. I would definitely book again if ever in the area with a large group.

Sibling trip

My brother and his wife and my sister, traveled to Winter Haven to visit our sister, who had had some recent health concerns. This house suited our needs perfectly. There was lots of space to accommodate having our sister and her family come and visit for a day. the kitchen was roomy enough for us to cook together and there were enough spaces for us to go, if we needed a little alone time. Beth was amazing at keeping in touch, and checked in a few times via texts just to see if there was anything we needed. We had a problem with a couple of the fans, and she was able to resolve the issue right away for one of them and sent someone to assess the problem with the other one.It is a lovely space and we would certainly stay again, if we come back to the area.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I love the historic element of this over 100 yr old Plantation style Manor, the big, enclosed, front sun porch, huge, private yard with the lake access right across the street. I enjoy walking to the parks, ball fields and college nearby. I also like the fact that stores, great restaurants an everything you need including the hospital is less than a mile away!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The home us unique in every way. As one of my guests said "it is an old Floridian Mansion that has been tastefully updated and decorated." Complete with a tree swing in the huge 100 yr old tree in the fenced front yard, across from a lake. It has the biggest yard and private parking area around in a safe neighborhood.
