Peaceful house right on the spring. Great place to get away from everything.

This is a peaceful 3 bedroom 2 bath house on Salt Creek. Salt Creek is a spring fed creek not one of the many man made canals in the area. Many paddle and swim Salt Creek while in the area because it is more relaxing than Weeki Wachee. This location is still convenient to many of the area attractions without being directly on Weeki Wachee. The place is a little eclectic with various art from three generations of our family placed throughout. The home is actually our vacation home and not just a short term rental. This house was built in the 80s and some of that still shows through with various things here and there. It is a typical Florida home from that era. The entire house was remodeled over late 2024 and early 2025 with completion in September of 2025. There is a large screened in porch on the back that looks out towards the water. There are no neighbors on either side or directly behind the house. This gives a nice quiet area to relax away from it all. In our opinion this is the best location in the neighborhood but we are biased a little.

The space
House is a three bedroom, two bath house with a walk in closet and plenty of storage space. It has been remodeled with new furniture and appliances including washer/dryer. Sheets and linens included. Master bedroom has king memory foam bed and private bathroom. Second bedroom has full bed. Middle bedroom has two twin beds with memory foam mattresses. There is additional sleeping available in the living room with a futon. There is a desk if a work area is needed in the master bedroom.

Food
There are plenty of convenient restaurants to suit your needs from local to national chains. Spring Hill and Brooksville are close drives so running out to get anything is easy and quick. There is a fully stocked kitchen as well so you can eat in or grill out.

Other things to note
The water is use at your own risk. The dock was destroyed by hurricane Helene and has not yet been repaired. There is one sit on and one sit in kayak and a paddle board for kids and another for adults. These are also use at your own risk.
Non aggressive and house trained pets are welcome. There are Blink doorbell cameras on the front and back of the house outside only. We have had people using the yard when guests are not there. Once guest checks in these are turned off. They are not to monitor the guests. If you personally have an issue with them let me know and we can work something out to make you feel more secure.
