Weekend stay

Nice place- newly renovated. Surrounding neighbors are bit junky. Easy access to the area and St Pete. Overall good place. 2 suggestions- some shelving in the shower itself would be nice. Few lounge chairs out back would also be nice.

Comfy Home in St. Pete

Very nice home. Extremely comfy and cozy. Listing very accurate. Quick response with directions and code to home. Very close to everything I needed to do. Nice quiet neighborhood. Will stay again when in the area.

Nice house a bit shaky neighborhood

The house was clean and looked new. It met our expectations. Just of few minor issues. The beds seemed like they had plastic covers (for kids) on them and they squeaked badly if a person moved around in them.

Recent attempted stay

Absolute dump this place I couldn’t even tell if it was a house or a shed. The roof was all patched up there were people smoking all in the road it was just an absolute trash hole. It was so bad I didn’t even go inside that’s how crappy it was. Tried to get a refund and the host does not comply at all or vrbo crapppy experience from the host

Bad

Couldn’t get in had no code. Texted the manager no respond until next day. Had to get another place to stay. The area was poor and the yard was bad not what pictures looked like.

Not great

Beds are uncomfortable and sqeeky because of the the plastic covers. Decdided to maybe remove the cover for more comfort day 2 of 5, discovered why. Shower, good luck on regulating the temperature , its like jack frost and satin are in a battle. Dont walk around barefoot, your feet will be black with filth. 1 wash cloth for a family of 6 (we bought 5 more and left at property for future family)Esthetics looks nice, other than that, decent location if you only plan on there to sleep

It was an ok place to stay

The house was not as clean as it should have been, when we took our shoes off our socks turned black from the dirt on the floor. There was no access to any cleaning supplies or extra trash bags so I bought a mop and cleaned the floors. The floors are uneven and dip in odd places. There was not a rug in the bathroom so we had to use a towel so we didnt slip on the floor. There was also no hand soap in the bathrooms. The beds have a plastic matress protector on them (like the ones used for toddler beds) so they crinkle every time you move and make it super hot while sleeping. When I reached out to the host it took a long time to get any sort of response and even when I did it wasn't helpful.

Do not rent this place.

As a seasoned traveler, I've stayed in my fair share of accommodations, but none quite like this. Picture this: you walk into what's supposed to be your dream vacation home, only to be greeted by a scent that can only be described as a mixture of expired cheese and wet dog. If you've ever wondered what a neglected frat house smells like after a week-long party, this place nails it. But wait, it gets better. Or should I say worse? The water pressure in the shower was so low that I had to perform a rain dance just to get a trickle. Forget about washing your hair – you'll be lucky if you can rinse off the soap suds. And just when you think things couldn't possibly get any worse, I woke up one morning to find police tape surrounding the front yard. Turns out there was a homicide right outside our doorstep. Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed – or in this case, the wrong side of the crime scene. In summary, if you're looking for a vacation rental that smells like a dumpster, has water pressure reminiscent of a leaky faucet, and comes with unexpected crime scenes, then this is the place for you. But if you value your olfactory senses, hygiene, and safety, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this VRBO nightmare.

St. Pete stay

First we had trouble getting in because the door is not properly installed, so the locks don't match and you have to pull the door so that the locks line up. The neighbors helped us get in and when we asked for the code to be changed they told us that the code no longer works which was not true. Second, the host had a phone number from the country of Columbia, so I had to call VRBO for every issue, and there were a lot of issues. Also, we had trouble communicating since I don’t speak Spanish. Third, there are 5 beds in the house but only 3 had linens and no additional blankets. The thermostat was locked and the temperature at night dropped to 62 (with no additional blankets). The pullout couch in the living space is falling apart. Third, there were no toiletries at all, we had to go to the store to buy soap, shampoo, etc. the dish sponge was cut in half and only half left. Fourth, the floor was not clean. Fifth, there were no hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels or beach towels. All in all, the place is nicely renovated, but they did nothing to make it pleasant or welcoming, so we got through the 2 days, but it is definitely below US standards.
