Awesome house for family/friends

Five of us stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The swimming pool and hot tub provided oodles of entertainment. The mango tree and coconut tree were added bonuses. The house itself was very comfortable - especially the mattresses and pillows. We had sufficient kitchen stuff to make seafood tacos and other snacks. The host was responsive to any communication. HIghly recommend and would return.

Amazing stay overall

Other than a little issue with that super confusing front door, the house was gorgeous, spacious, and spotless when I checked in. The hosts were quick to respond to everything I asked snd were super helpful.

Mostly Ok

The check in process was simple enough outside of the host forgetting to give the details before arrival. The place is decent and mostly ok but in need of updating. Spent a lot of time worrying that everything that came wrong with the place would be blamed on us because it was arranged like nothing was wrong, but we don't travel much. We kept in communication with the host over the issues but everyone, naturally, was on their gaurd. With some updates, this could be a very comfortable stay.

The property had everything necessary for a nice get-together. An ample amount of space, plenty of seating, and multiple ways to be entertained. No need to look anywhere else if this is available!!! Thank you again, you will be seeing me in the future.

Amazing for our big group !

We were unsure when we pulled up but the inside sure did impress. So much room. Beds comfy. Two washers and dryers to use and was so helpful. Would definitely stay here again if come back. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect friends getaway

The house was exactly as described and pictured and host was great! I was traveling with a group of friends and needed to place to stay to relax and unwind after a 9 hr drive before boarding a cruise the next day. The deck with pool and hottub was the perfect hangout spot and there was plenty of room in the house for All 5 of us to have our own space

This is a great place to stay !! I had an amazing time with some friends that stayed over at the house it hosted perfectly a group of 15 people, we came all the way from Atlanta and we were staying one night in Hollywood and the host was trying to be as helpful as possible he made my trip possible, definitely would book with them again when I come back to Hollywood !!

Nice location

Nice neighborhood and location. The check in time differed on the listing. We were told we could check in an hour after the time indicated on the listing. The cleaner was still there, and she was very friendly and accommodating. The floor was still really dirty though. The beds were comfortable.

Never again! Read all reviews. Lesson learned.

The photos posted do not accurately represent the conditions of the home.The property is run down; chipped drywall and paint on the bathroom walls, dinged walls, wonky window coverings, poorly kept yard and the unit is poorly supplied. We were told it could accommodate 15 people. There were 11 in our party and not enough towels, dishes, bedding, blankets or pillows to go around. I messaged days ahead of time reminding the owners of our group size. When I called about the issues upon arrival, I was told I could wash the dirty blankets we saw on the washing machine and go to the dollar store to buy more supplies. There were rodent/insect traps out and visible. The pool and hot tub looked really dirty and unkept so we avoided using them. Renter be ware. Read ALL reviews before booking.

Needs a lot of work.

Well, now where to begin. When we arrived at the location, we were able to get into the house just fine unfortunately as we entered the house, we realized when we were selecting our bedrooms that the first bedroom had no lights no fan. The fan was actually originally plugged into the wall and stapled to the ceiling we did however just deal with this the way that it was. It was fine during the day cause there was plenty of light in the house. There were hardly any cooking materials in the kitchen for somebody staying for seven days. We obviously went to the grocery store and cooked a lot of meals in that house, but I had to actually purchase disposable utensils and things like that to be able to feed everyone and to cook properly. The washing machine worked about half the time could never really figure out what was going on with. It didn’t seem like it was getting any water to it at certain points but then it would start working so it’s definitely on the fritz and caused a lot of issues. The number one problem in that house is that it is built incorrectly. We had quite a few tall people in our party and had quite a few heads bumped on the overhanging staircase up in the master suite where you had to basically crawl into the mattress because of the overhang or the eaves on either side of the king size bed. Also, when we arrived, apparently somebody had attempted to clean the property, but they did not do a very good job the house was dirty and gross. And outdated everywhere.

Very disapointing stay

Nice owner, yet the property was very underwhelming. Old house with patched furniture, not one chair to dress with or any place sit to eat. No place to put personal effects in the downstairs bathroom. Table service only for 4. We paid for 12 adults: 4 couples and 4 adult singles. Cheasy cheap furnishings. Two of the trumble beds were unavailable because they were pinned under a broken leg of twin beds shoved together to make a downstairs king.

AWESOME FRIENDSGIVING!

Listen I am writing this review MONTHS later. I could not get this rental out of my mind! I had a small get together to celebrate friendsgiving with family and friends and this was just the right place. My brothers each had a room, I had the loft upstairs and we had a great party (you know, a respectable size party) where everyone enjoyed themselves. This rental was perfect because its hard to find a place where you can throw a party and relax just a little that as long as its under control you will have a blast! At the time, the only thing missing was that the pool was out of order, however the owners did give me a partial refund for it and hopefully the issue is fixed by now. The price of the rental was VERY resonable. Overall, DEFINITELY 10/10. The fact that I am just now putting this review in should speak VOLUMES! Book it now!

Disappointing

Positive reviews for this property are incentivized with drawings for gift cards so be aware of that if reviews help you make a decision. We were absolutely disappointed and were offered a small refund only if we still left a five star review or agreed not to leave a negative review. So many issues with this place. No smoke detectors. Window coverings were either missing or not working or see-through. Taped black garbage bags over windows in some rooms for privacy. The living room ceiling light did not work. Owner offered to have the light fixed but was not convenient for us to have someone coming over when trying to get kids to bed. For the upper room it was unbearably hot and the whole floor was incredibly sticky so we couldn't utilize it. The upper floor supplemental AC unit did not work, and owner mentioned an error code on it so was aware... Hot tub was dirty and pool appeared to be cloudy. Maintenance guy came over to try to address the hot tub and pool water issues and apologized for not having a chance to clean hot tub after previous guests. The central AC unit could not get the house cooler than 75 during the day and took until late into the evening to get below that. Also, basketball game that was pictured had hoop missing and the game was inoperable. We were told the issues were "personal preferences," but expecting a listing to appear as pictured/advertised is not personal preference. The owner has some work to do before this property lives up to expectations.
