Our stay was very enjoyable. The host does a great job in thinking of what would be needed. We loved the beach. (There are 3 or 4 flights of stairs to the beach - once you are there it is perfect.) We will definitely consider staying here again.

This was a great property to stay at! The hosts had everything you could possibly think of to use and it was good quality. I’m used to grungy pans or beach gear but that was not at all my experience. We would definitely come back!

Our two families have stayed at this property two times now, and both have been absolutely wonderful. It is spacious, giving us both together time, and areas if one needs privacy. We appreciate the fully stocked kitchen for making meals, the downstairs rec area, the backyard and fire pit, the proximity to the beach. The only suggestion might be a more comfortable sitting area in the main living room for family to gather for a football game or movie. Even an area rug and large pillows would lend a more comfortable spot for the kids to stretch out. Thank you for sharing your lovely home once again! Bruce & Lynn.

What a wonderful place to stay!! I wanted to stay longer it was so perfect! Beautiful house, incredible location and we literally had everything we could ever need! The beach was excellent and so easy to get to! We all were very comfortable! I highly recommend! We will be back! I hope!

House is well-stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. Short drive to Hart for groceries. Property has everything for relaxing: fire pit with chairs, spacious deck, games, and easy access to beach. You can hear the waves from the house too. Great experience!

Clean and well stocked . Host very responsive . Air conditioning worked well in 90 degree weather . Stairs to Lake Michigan excellent even for those with disability. I would definitely stay here again

We adored this cottage! Location was fabulous! Kitchen was well stocked! Our only small complaint is the foosball table. We booked this place for the rec room for the kids, and it disappointed. I know it's humid but the table was so warped we could not play a game. :(Thankfully, the beach was so close, we had many other things to do!Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. Your love for your family all over the walls made it feel very special indeed!

The house was so welcoming from the minute we opened the front door. The amenities were great, the beds were comfy, and the set up was wonderful. It was a great place for family times, talking, playing board games, and it was near to great activities. A bonus was seeing Lake Michigan go wild - the weather was snowy and high winds and the lake was alive!

We loved the cottage.  It was a very nice setup with all the little things attended to, making the whole week very comfortable. Everyone in the family raved about it including the dogs ;) The location was fantastic, in the woods, a few minute walk to/from the beach.

This cottage was so clean and comfortable, even better than described. The hosts made us feel at home with everything they provided. The beach was breathtaking and peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location just steps from Lake Michigan, with a really robust set of stairs (and sturdy handrail) to get to the beach. We are in our 60s and 70s and really value that. Overall, the cottage was comfortable, attractive, quiet, and had everything we needed. The price was great for two couples, and the cottage is roomy. A few small things would make it even more comfortable: there were no headboards on the beds, which makes it a challenge to read in bed or sit up to sleep, which my husband needs to do for acid reflux. Our mattress was hard and slightly lumpy, which a good mattress pad would solve. We were there in the off season (October), and a few more extra blankets would have been nice. The carpet on the stairs and second level was off white, and although clean, it had a few stains, and white carpet is problematic at a beach house (the host asked us not to wear shoes on the carpet, which we were happy to comply with). It would have been nice to have a small desk or table to sit and do work on a laptop. You can sit at the island but it only has hard metal backless stools, so not really practical or comfortable for working (one of us who should have been on vacation had to do some work while we were there; it happens!) These are the details that would propel this cottage from a nice place to stay (in a great location) to a stellar place. We would absolutely stay here again though. I want to commend our host for responding quickly, kindly, and efficiently to a small i

A terrific place to stay, fire pit under the stars, grilling on the deck, walking to the beach. Comfy cozy house, all boxes checked for a terrific summer vacation on Lake Michigan.

Family Vacation

Memorial Weekend Stay

Home was close enough to walk to the Lake. We were out in the country, but close enough to towns and other activities. Communication with owner was great. The Welcome book was very helpful and easy to read, along with favorite local spots to visit!

Beach was awesome!

This was a super cool home that was well stocked with useful amenities and very clean. Our family loved the close proximity to the beach and dunes. We will definitely be back next summer.
