New to Ocean Odyssey Vacation Rentals!! Come and relax in this charming 4 bedroom cottage along the picturesque coastline of Yachats. Known as the Gem of the Oregon Coast with it's rocky outcrops and tidepools. This home is walking distance to everything you could need and enjoy about Yachats.
A short drive to the north is Waldport and Alsea Bay for some great crabbing and fishing. To the south are numerous tidepools and a little farther is Florence and the sand dunes.

Great stay!

This property is located in an amazing area with beautiful views and fun places to walk down on the rocks! The house is very clean and comfortable. The only downside is the size of the bedrooms. You don't have room for your luggage, but the beds are comfortable. Great stay overall!

Great break from the heat

Crabbing trip with just the guys. Place was clean but not too clean to make it uncomfortable for relaxing with the guys. We'll be back.

This is a warm & welcoming home; very relaxed, tasteful decor. The furniture is very comfortable and the beds we used were very comfortable. The towels were wonderfully soft and plush and the home was very clean. We very much enjoyed the walkable location to town and the beach. The ground floor bedroom was musty smelling so we chose not to use it. It was clean and was nice to have the extra bathroom and full size refrigerator. The kitchen is lovely and well-equipped. We did struggle the one time we used the oven; couldn’t get the temp setting to change. It did work fine on 350, but I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temp. The refrigerator drawers are a great use of space. The top one worked great but the lower one seemed to not get very cold. May need a maintenance check. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we were disappointed with the giant 3 story house blocking the sunset/ocean view. The partial views from this home are lovely but not what we expected from the description and pics.

Weekend stay

We had a great time exploring Yachats for the weekend. The house is walking distance to everything the town has to offer. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to make a nice meal. The only thing to note that was unclear in the listing is that one of the four bedroom's and the second bath is in a detached in law type suite with separate outdoor entry. This is also the only place there is a full sized fridge/freezer. The main kitchen only has a small drawer style fridge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect - it was walking distance to everything, and just a short walk to enter the beach. The ocean views were beautiful. The only drawbacks would be that the washing machine did not work, there was some rotted boards on the deck, and the BBQ was in poor shape (so we didn’t use it). However, for the price charged, it was well worth it. The property management was extremely responsive to the laundry issue, and even took the laundry and did it for us.

Lots of stairs

We stayed during the rainy season (wait, this is OR, it’s all rainy season). Wet stairs and seniors with canes don’t mix well. Decking wood was very slick and lacking traction. We were lucky enough to have willing helpers from the property hosts, Ocean Odyssey Vacation Rentals, to assist with carrying stuff up & down on arrival & departure. Bedrooms were lacking closets. Bathroom towels were sparse, and there were no dish towels. The living area was very spacious with lots of windows, and a kitchen table large enough for game playing. Hopefully the amenities issues we discussed with Odyssey have been resolved. Overall, we had a great time in our favorite coast town!

Dirty dishes in cupboard. Dirty surfaces throught the house. Across the street, noisy people in the 2 story that blocks the ocean view. We enjoyed walking distances to beach, shops and restaurants.

We had great views of the ocean, and it was a short walk into Yachats. The house itself is small, with three small bedrooms upstairs and a fourth bedroom in the studio downstairs. We would definitely stay there again!
