Cozy Glacier cabin ready for R&R
Take a break from the hustle and bustle and hunker down in our cozy cabin. The open space and loft layout means you can enjoy space together or sneak away to a quiet room when needed. Cook up dinners on the new electric stove, help yourself to the variety of board games stocked in the game cabinet, or sit on the deck with your morning coffee - pick your own Glacier destiny. 3 min drive to Glacier. 30 minutes to Mt. Baker Ski Area. 5 min walk to delicious pizza at Chair 9 across the highway.
The space
**Reserving guest must be a minimum of 25 years of age and requires ID confirmation.
The house is tucked away at the back of a col de sac in the trees. It is roughly 1400 sq feet and has an open layout. Enjoy the main level's open floor plan, which includes a living and dining area attached to a kitchen/bar area. The main level has one queen bedroom + bathroom with a shower. The upstairs includes a working space for those who work from home. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs - an additional queen bedroom and a bedroom featuring 2 bunk beds. The upstairs has a small bathroom/shower.
The main level has a mudroom - the main entry for guests. This has a coat rack, shoe area (please remove your shoes), washer/dryer, and boot dryer for winter months.
There is NO CELL SERVICE in Glacier. Please get directions or have them downloaded on your phone beforehand!
Mount Baker Recreation Area/Wildnerness
SUMMER --> Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf.
WINTER --> Enjoy world-class downhill and cross-country skiing, backcountry, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding.
Allow a 48-hour period between your time of booking and your check-in time. We want to make sure the property will be available and clean for your arrival and make your vacation happen!
PLEASE NOTE:
**WIFI** There is NO CELL SERVICE in Glacier. Please get directions or have them downloaded on your phone before hand! WiFi service is now available in our area and provided free of charge for guests. That being said, we're still out in the woods and the service is subject to failure or slow speeds from the service provider. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WiFi SERVICE fails to function properly.
**SEPTIC** We run on septic so please only flush 1 + 2 - any blockages or repairs to the septic during a stay due to a negligent flush will be an expense of the guest. Our septic is able to support a household limit of 6 people.
**THE VIBE*** This is a monitored family home that people do live in, and not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid. We expect guests to treat this private residence with respect as well as be mindful of neighbors, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Quiet hours at Lillstugan are from 9 pm to 9 am. Guests are directly responsible for their parties actions and should discuss directions + house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. People seeking a party house are advised to seek such accommodations elsewhere. This isn't what you're looking for.
**PETS** Pets/dogs are not allowed on the property however, please note a dog does live a the property between guests.

âââââââ**Effective October 1st, 2022, and until further notice, unfortunately outside of our control, the Snowline community recreational amenities (including the swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, etc.) are no longer available for Guest use. Please do not attempt to use them, as doing so will be subject to community fines for which our Guests are responsible.
NO PETS/NO SMOKING/NO PARTIES

That being said, we're still out in the woods and the service is subject to failure or slow speeds from the service provider. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
After living many years in Sweden, I wanted a place to call home back at home in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up at Mt. Baker and prefer to be close to the mountain and in nature. I work remotely and am often away and have chosen to share my space with other people interested in relaxing and playing in this special nook of the Cascade range.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
I've tried to make the space simple but well-equipped. It's tucked at the back of a loop, away from the main street and backed up right against national forest boundary. See if you can spot the sign hidden in the mossy rocks!
