Submerse yourself into a relaxing retreat at the Snowater Resort! No frills, and excellent amenities to unplug(NO WIFI/Cellular Service in unit) for an adventurous day on the mountain or a cozy retreat in. Located just 30 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area!
4 of us really enjoyed our stay in this condo at Snowater Resort. The condo is centrally located at the resort, close to all three common buildings with excellent facilities. Only 30 minutes drive to Mt Baker ski resort. The condo is very clean and cozy. Highly recommend!
This was a terrific spot, and the complex is perfect for families. If you connect to the Log Cabin wifi (at the log cabin), you can often get the internet from the balcony :)
Would love to stay here again!
Lovely condo with great amenities and responsive hosts. Off the grid - no cell service or wifi (wifi available in the clubhouses). Check in process was easy. Would stay again!
I really enjoyed my stay. The no WiFi access did not bother me but I can see how that might be an issue with others. The condo was in great shape and very convenient in a quiet area. Thank you.
Loved this comfortable and cozy place at Snowater. The fireplace was particularly nice. Easy and quick access to clubhouse and rec rooms for pool, spa, and WiFi. Loved the trail along the river. Very quick response from property management, easy checkin at office, everything we needed for a ski getaway.
The loft is perfect, the upscale cabin decor felt like the owners really care about their place and the experience of their guests. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was super comfortable & the access to hot tub at the lodge was also great. The location was also convenient to many of the local hiking trails.
Beautiful place. Canât go wrong with the club houses and cabin out there by the river.
Everythingâs great. Wish the room offered their WiFi to guests, but itâs available at the clubhouses if you need. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed that I couldnât be reached. .
Beautiful property; thoughtful owners; perfect location. Two additions would make it a 5 star stay. One is AC as the afternoon sun really heats up the condo and the cool night air doesnât circulate through the bedrooms to cool it down. The other is WIFI as there is no cellular service either.
Cool little complex. The second bedroom is a loft which means it can be very loud if a full house, make sure you keep that in mind. And there is no wifi at the house and no cell phone reception in the area so really make sure you have the directions to get in right!
Snowater is a beautiful property right along the Nooksack River. We loved swimming in the pools, playing pool and ping pong in the clubhouses, and walking around. The condo has a great view of the river and we loved hanging out there. One of the bedrooms has no window and the other is a loft. There is no cell phone service in the area and no internet at the condo, which makes it an amazing place to be offline. You can get wireless in the two clubhouses nearby. We really look forward to going back!
Great location by the nooksack river, close to many hiking trails, Mount Baker, and Mount Shuksan. On our dry days, we enjoyed hiking, took in the vistas, as well as the wild blueberries and blackberries on the trails.
Within the resort, there are nice walking trails along the river and in the woods, which my dogs loved. There were numerous options like table tennis, billiards, darts, puzzles, indoor pool and hot tub, etc that helped entertain us on the rainy days that we had. The condo was clean, had the necessities, was close to everything in the resort. We had no wifi in our condo, which was nice to unplug for a bit, and the clubhouse was close by if wifi was needed. They also had DVDs and reading materials, for additional entertainment without streaming.
Chair 9 had surprisingly delicious pizza and Graham's was a also surprise treat. We also took advantage of the blueberry picking a little further west.
We loved the space, and our kids were able to roam around and entertain themselves (and to get some wifi from the three common buildings), but we still got some swimming, ping-ponging, puzzling and some hiking in, so a great weekend had by all.
The area around Mt. Baker has limited infrastructure, but Sunwater Resort is a refreshing exception. Located just 30 minutes from the ski resort, itâs an excellent base for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, offering great amenities like a pool, hot tub, and sauna. The condo was clean and well-equipped with essential kitchen appliances and utensils. Itâs also a great choice for families, with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds for kids. Highly recommend!
