Ce cottage de style plantation hawaïenne conçu sur mesure est situé juste à cÎté de la plage de Brennecke du parc de Poipu Beach, à 100 pas de la plage!

Cette maison spacieuse a Ă©tĂ© conçue et construite en 2013 pour ĂȘtre la retraite de vacances idĂ©ale - son style de plantation lui permet de se fondre dans le quartier historique, tout en offrant tout le luxe moderne. L'extĂ©rieur est un espace barbecue, une douche de jardin accessible depuis la salle de bain principale ou de l'extĂ©rieur, et sous l'arbre Plumeria est un spa spa paysager de 5 personnes. Profitez des 2 suites principales avec lits king-size moelleux, tĂ©lĂ©viseurs Ă  Ă©cran plat, baignoire sur piĂ©destal et douche de jardin extĂ©rieure, et laveuse et sĂ©cheuse Ă  chargement frontal pleine grandeur. La grande piĂšce Ă  aire ouverte s'ouvre sur la grande vĂ©randa avec 22 pieds de portes pliantes de 8 pieds de haut, et les murs de 9 1/2 pieds de haut, les plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s, les grandes fenĂȘtres Ă  double battant et les ventilateurs de plafond gardent l'endroit frais et frais. La cuisine est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur Ă  porte pleine grandeur, d'un lave-vaisselle silencieux, d'une cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz, d'un garde-manger walk-in, de comptoirs en granit, de rayonnages ouverts et entiĂšrement approvisionnĂ© (mĂȘme avec une presse française!). This property was amazing. From the location and proximity to Poipu Beach, to the design and amenities, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay during our trip to to Kauai.Besides the beach that lay just steps away from the house, the covered porch tended to be the place where we spent the most time. With the accordion doors open, and the ocean breeze, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our getaway.

This is the most perfect beach cottage. Stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach is so easy. Spending evenings on the lanai listening to music and playing games was a highlight. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect location and comfortable

We loved this home. The location was perfect and very close to the beach. The home was comfortable from the beds to linens to amenities. The owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries and was very helpful. We are definitely staying here again on our future visits.

Luxurious Cottage in Great Location

Gorgeous home close to Brenneckes Beach

We could not love this property more! It was perfect for our family of four. Beautifully decorated and everything we needed was there, including beach towels, wagon, chairs and sand toys
kitchen was well equipped, and private hot tub was much appreciated. We would love to stay again one day.

Poipu Paradise

This little cottage has everything you could want in a vacation home: location close to the beach, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, beach towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, relaxing outdoor space, you name it, it is here. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Great house to explore Kauai from!

The house is in a great location on the south side of the island - just a few steps away from Brenneke's Beach & Poipu Beach. Was perfect for my husband and our teen daughters. Used the gas grill and beach gear. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working during our stay - a main reason why we booked this house. But, the owner tried to get it fixed as soon as he was made aware of the situation, but wasn't able to get the parts in time, so he did refund us 1 night stay - which helped make the situation better. Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to Kauai. A great place to explore and relax from.

One of the best places to stay in Kauai

This property did not disappoint. Very clean, well kept, GREAT location and the hosts, Brent and Karen were very responsive and flexible. My entire family loved the place. It was well stocked and the way the place was decorated was just very conducive for nice family dinners, conversations or just chilling out. We will not hesitate to come back and stay here again. I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret :)

Perfect Vacation Spot!

Gorgeous property! The house is beautiful, clean and well outfitted. Beach chairs, umbrella, and beach wagon are provided, so walking to the nearby beach is a breeze. (Fun to watch the turtles swim in!) We also often walked to the athletic club: swimming in the sand bottom pool, playing pickle ball and using work out facilities. Relaxing in the hot tub was a perfect way to finish our days.

Beautiful home just steps from the beach

Upon entering this beautiful home, you feel ready for a real vacation, with all the amenities you could ask for. From the hot tub, to access to Athletic Club, we enjoyed more than the quick access to the beach and great restaurants (I.e. Joe’s and Puka Dog). So glad to have found this place which was reasonably priced considering how perfect it is. The only small thing I would suggest is providing coffee for the coffee maker. Mahalo!

Family with toddler getaway

We come to Kauai annually but this was our first time on the south end of the island. Highly recommend Poipu for young families and this listing! So many gems at this beautiful property. To list a few: the outdoor shower was to die, indoor/outdoor floor plan was perfect for our toddler to run in and out of while still being able to watch him and make dinner, easy walk to the beach allowed us to go there a few times a day without a big fuss. The house is fully stocked with all that you need included a beach cart, umbrella, chairs and sand toys we used daily. Hosts were very easy and friendly to communicate with. Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful house that has it all!

There is a reason this property has all 5 star reviews. It was exactly what we were looking for - relaxing lanai, walking distance to great beaches, clean and well taken care of. This house is maintained as if it is your own, not a rental. This is the first VRBO stay we’ve had that actually had an organized kitchen! They have included so many extras that make your stay easy, including beach chairs, umbrellas, boards, sand toys, coolers, towels, and the ever important wagon for walking it all down to the beach. The outdoor shower was amazing and makes it so easy to get all the sand off before going inside. We have young kids and loved having access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club to use the pool, slide, and keiki sand bottom pool. You get the great beaches and pool access without having to stay in a hotel. This was a perfect stay and we will be back!

Poipu beach cottage

We stayed in this lovely cottage for our 25th Anniversary trip. It was clean, convenient to the beach, and had everything we needed. The owners provided easy to follow instructions, as well as, recommendations for the area. The cottage was spacious for us. Would have been perfect for 2 couples as it has two masters. The location was amazing! Less than a minutes walk to Poipu Beach, walk across the park for another minute and you are at Brennecke’s Beach. Saw many Sea Turtles and Monk Seals at the beach. They just hang out and swim all day then make their way to shore to rest in the evenings. Volunteer Naturalists on the beach were very informative about their species and protecting them. We had a car and drove the entire island seeing sights. We also hiked a lot. Easy to get to trails from the cottage. Some within walking distance. Many restaurants and 2 shopping villages near by. The patio was perfect in the mornings and evenings for relaxing. Thank you for the beach supplies too! We had a great week and highly recommend this property.

Aloha! Brent, originally from Oregon, and I (Karen) originally from Ohio, both moved to Kauai in the early 1980's (when we were too young to know any better) met, fell in love, got married, and have been here ever since. With my design background and Brent being a general contractor, we began Olson Homes Inc. which is a design/build firm specializing in custom homes here on the south side. We live in Kalaheo, but ever since I came here and fell in love with Kauai, I dreamed of having a little place in Poipu, near the beach. I never thought it would happen, but this property kind of fell in our laps and my dream came true! And we set out to build our perfect beach cottage. We named it Ke'ola, 'the life', because we feel it represents the amazing quality of life that Kauai has to offer. Karen is a plein air (outdoor) painter, and you can see her work at www.kauaipainter.com.
