Didn’t meet expectation
Our weekend getaway didn’t turn out as expected. While admittedly a minor hassle, I had to call the property management company 2 weeks from my arrival to ask why my card had not been charged and if we still had a reservation. I had to call again 2 hours prior to check in to ask why I had not received any information on accessing the property. As it turned out, these inconveniences appear symptomatic of their wider attitude towards clients.
On arrival at the property management company to sort out access, I was told that one parking pass comes with the property and that extra passes were $30 each for a weekend. Strange for such a large property. When we got to the property, the refrigerator was not working. I contacted the property manager to advise and that there was a lot of water that had seeped under the kitchen floor as a result of the dead refrigerator. I was told to leave the doors closed overnight and that the temperatures would stabilize. They did not. The refrigerator remained at room temp. The refrigerator was replaced the next day around 3 pm and did not come to temp as to be useable until that night. Zero concessions were made by the property owner or management despite having provided a property without a working refrigerator and a parade of maintenance people on Saturday. These things will happen but buyer beware on this one, if anything goes wrong with the property during the getaway that you paid for, expect ‘tough luck and deal with it’ from mgmt.
