Cette jolie nouvelle maison est le rêve d'un vacancier. Située directement sur la rivière Delaware, à la vue du pont de Milford, la maison comprend 3 chambres spacieuses, un loft, une cuisine spectaculaire (un rêve de `` gourmets '') et une salle familiale, un foyer à deux faces, une terrasse à chaque niveau du maison plus une grande terrasse isolée sur la rivière, bar extérieur, solarium et 4 salles de bain complètes.

Une planification réfléchie pour les clients de tous âges et de toutes capacités comprend un ascenseur à quatre étages et une douche à accès direct, ce qui le rend idéal pour les familles multigénérationnelles qui souhaitent passer du temps ensemble. La maison et la vaste propriété vous offrent beaucoup d'espace pour être ensemble ou être séparés.

Great Gathering Place

While the photographs of this riverside home are accurate, they cannot do justice to the ambience and delight experienced. Every level has its own deck and each deck has an expansive view of the river.We gathered for a small family reunion of siblings and spouses. We all had our own bedroom and bath, as well as our own floor. The house provided many areas to gather together or find space for some alone time. Whether in the expansive kitchen or one of the many decks, the house set the tone for a warm and welcoming experience.Just before we met, one of us had an injury and the elevator was a great help.In addition, Joan, the owner, was exceptional and helpful before we even arrived.This would be a great gathering place for a multigenerational family and I would love to return with my children and grandchildren. I can’t sing the praises enough for this most welcoming home. A jewel in Upper Black Eddy!

Excellent location and perfect house.

Everything was great! Supplies galore (even baking ingredients to include chocolate chips!) Everything was perfectly labeled (no guessing which switch works which lights) The space is gianormous and every room has its own full bathroom and wonderful views. We highly recommend it.

Beyond Expectations

The home owner went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Not only was the home beautiful, fully equipped and clean, Joan, the host, did everything she could to assure our stay was great. Even though she herself was traveling we could text her and heard back right away snd she even called several times to make sure all good. Home is as advertised. Great location, beautiful views with a deck by the river. Garage and elevator were a big plus. Would love to come back again.

Extraordinary Place to Relax or Not!

I can't say enough good things about this home or it's host. My husband and I, two adult children and future son-in-law came to stay and visit with my ailing mother. The master on main and elevator were key for someone with her limited mobility and it's a great way to get your things easily to any floor. Beautiful inside and out, cozy and warm (it was winter, and it snowed), and the decor was stunning. Everyone had their own space and bath and the living and kitchen space with the two-sided fireplace provided an excellent setting to relax, catch up and enjoy each other's company. We did not get to enjoy the outdoors much but are already thinking of coming back when we can! You will want for nothing here. Quaint towns nearby to shop and eat. Plenty of things to do at the house as well. The host, Joan, could not have been more kind, responsive or accommodating to our needs. My only complaint is it's soooo comfy you won't want to go home! So go, stay, enjoy and tell Joan we say Hi!

Our stay at Joan’s River House was an experience my family aged 3 to 70 truly enjoyed. The house is big enough for a large group and yet cozy and peaceful. It is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated creating areas of interest throughout the house. The elevator is a bonus, especially when bringing in the luggage and was a huge hit with the grandchildren. JOAN is the consummate host having thought of everything and creating a very organized environment saving you time and allowing you to just get down to enjoying the comfort of her home. We hope to be back soon!

A Wonderful Reunion

We (three families of old college friends, each with kids between 1-10 years old) spent a long weekend at the house, and it was a wonderful venue for us to connect. We made the top floor the "Kid Zone", which was perfect as it had a bunch of individual beds and musical instruments. This allowed our kids to have a great time together, while giving the adults the opportunity to catch up. Joan was an amazing host, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. I can't want to come back again, as we all agreed we'd love to make this an annual tradition!

Best Family Christmas

This home was perfect for our family Christmas. We loved the river, space, privacy, and the fireplace. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything for a holiday meal. Joan was very attentive and helpful if we needed anything. She went out of her way to accommodate our family. We had the best time and wanted for nothing, super convenient.

Amazing house, fully stocked and beautiful!

This is was the best vacation house we have ever been in, bar none. It is almost unbelievable how well stocked it is, from the kitchen to the tool closet, etc. that’s all on top of a great layout with dual sided fireplace, amazing yard and private dock, and very clean conditions. Whole heartedly recommend.

House was immaculate upon arrival. Excellent for people with mobility issues. Friend was in a wheelchair and he could access entire house and waterfront deck. Very relaxing and enjoyable time. Some really great restaurants in town.

Beautiful riverfront home

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riverfront property. The home is immaculate, one of the cleanest rental property I’ve come across. The property is beautifully landscaped with bamboo fencing. We definitely appreciated the elevator for a disabled family member. The grocery store is nearby in case anything is needed. Joan was very gracious and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed canoeing/kayaking/tubing on the river (all provided). We also enjoyed a nice evening around the fire pit. We all had such fun entertaining my 3 year old niece on the upper floor with all sorts of musical instruments (none of us musically inclined). This home is exceptional. Great place for family bonding. We plan on returning.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful riverfront home! The host was extremely gracious and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. This house truly has it all! We visited with two families, including 4 kids ranging from 5 months to 5 years, and everyone had an absolute blast. The kids loved the outdoor space and playroom, and we appreciated the peace of mind knowing they had plenty of room to run around.The location is ideal, with Frenchtown just a short drive away and access to the toe path for great walks. We stayed in the winter but we hope to also return in the summer to take advantage of the amazing outdoor activities available, including bicycling kayaking right from the backyard!The house itself is stunning, beautifully appointed and comfortable furnishings, with beautiful views of the river from most rooms. The double-sided fireplace (and unlimited firewood!) was a cozy touch on chilly evenings, and the tons of space for relaxing made it easy for everyone to unwind.We were also impressed by how well-equipped the house was – from towels and blankets to everything we needed in the kitchen. And with each bedroom having its own en-suite bathroom, it felt like a luxurious retreat. We can't recommend this house highly enough! It's perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Property!

From our first conversation with the owner, we knew this would be a great fit for our family. The river house and the grounds are beautiful! So much thought went into creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Out of State wedding

I needed a house a my extended family for my sons wedding. This river home was perfect. The house was beautiful and meet all our needs. The grandparents loved the elevator. The home allows for great together time and allows privacy when wanted. The multiple decks and outside amenities made you like you were somewhere special at all time. Joan has appointed this house with anything you can need . You can tell Joan takes great care of her home and her guest. Her availability to guest is amazing. Overall my sons wedding was so special and amazing and so was staying at this lovely river front home You will be happy if you select this home.

River Paradise

My husband and I spent four nights at this wonderful house by the Delaware River. The interior of the house was stunning. Loving care had obviously gone into the design and interior decor. Every room held unexpected delights. The view from the great room and most bedrooms was spectacular. The kitchen was a dream. The house was so inviting and comfortable I told the owner she might have to evict me from the house, and I was only partly kidding. Joan was a pleasure to deal with. It is evident at every turn that she really cares about the comfort of her guests and wants everyone to have an enjoyable and memorable stay. As a person with mobility challenges, the elevator was a blessing and allowed me to enjoy the view of the river from the decks on every floor. It was also invaluable while bringing in bags and groceries. The house makes a perfect base for exploring the river towns nearby, and restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. I can’t wait to introduce my son and his family to Joan’s river house.

Awesome Deleware River Home

This is our 2nd year staying at this home. It literally has everything..even an elevator ( great for bringing in luggage and supplies) Would be easier to say what it doesnt have that to list everything that’s there for you! ( even 2 sets of washer dryers ) Cant say enough about place or about hosts (Joan is a text away and soo accommodating). They home is as beautiful as the pictures. A great family home..if you decide to rent here you wont be disappointed and most likely you’ll return!

Relaxing River House

We could not be happier with our recent stay at the River House in Upper Black Eddy. The house is lovely and appointed with everything you could possible want! Beautiful kitchen? check! Lovely bathrooms? check! Comfy beds? check! bucket of hammers for Ringing Rocks Park? Enough bikes for a platoon of riders? life jackets? kayaks, tubes? Check, Check and Check. Joan has thought of everything. We had initially planned some outings to Sesame Place and other local attractions but the house, river, and nearby bike paths provided all the adventure we needed for six adults and 4 kids under age 5. We look forward to our next stay there!

Wonderful for all ages

We just had a multi-celebration party and family reunion at " the River Home" with family members ranging from 4 months old to 88 years young, celebrating my daughter's graduation and birthday and mother's day.... This beautiful home and is clean, comfortable, beautiful and equipped for all ages and phisical abilities. The elevator was a blessing, well equipped for fishing, kayaking, biking, cooking, baking...... We made such beautiful memories and would love to have another family reunion here. Thank you Joan for making us feel at home.

A group of 11 adults stayed here together, all of whom now consider this place a cherished spot. Every room has thoughtful touches and beautifully arranged comforts. Wonderful views of the river, fantastic kitchen for group meals, and enough space for everyone. Joan as a host was next-level in her welcome communication and kindness. We felt completely able to focus on simply enjoying cozy, quiet time with our group without worrying about whether we had what we would need. The house feels personal and established, like staying at one’s own family home, with every need seemingly already considered and planned for in its offerings. It’s clear that Joan cares about this home and about guests having a good experience. The five star reviews from every past guest are well deserved.

Amazing!

We had 12 family members staying at this gorgeous home. Ages ranging from ages 2 to 70. Joan is a such a great host and the house was immaculate upon arriving and decorated beautifully! The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. So many items are provided it made the shopping so much easier. This home offers such beautiful views of the river with multiple decks on the house and outside by the water. Bikes, kayaks, canoe, tubes, toys, firepit! You name it, this house has everything and them some! Thank you Joan!!!

Hidden Oasis

This house has it ALL. It is an absolute dream to stay at. While having easy access to the river from the back yard, you still had a full back yard to run and play in! It was a delight that each bedroom not only had its own bathroom but also balcony, almost as if each was its own bed and breakfast. Staying as a family of multiple married couples, children and young adults, there was always something for someone to be doing! Every part of the house is thought through, including the elevator from car port to any floor! There is so much pride taken in the design and care of this house and it shows in every aspect! Not far down the road was an ice cream shop, strawberry picking and an amazing bagel place! Truly as lovely as the pictures showed it!

Bucks county delight

Joan was exceptionally communicative. Provided great food insight to the area and what is available. The property is honestly more like a 10 star rental!! Our group has been using short term rental sites for years. Many of the places we have stayed have clearly been "used and abused" and amenities listed, although present, aren't functional. This property is NOT that!!!! Everything is high quality and better than described! This is the 8th year in a row 6-10 of us have traveled and used short term rentals and this property (and Joan the owner) have, HANDS DOWN BEEN THE BEST EXPERIENCE so far! We look forward to returning and can't say enough positive things about Joan and her listing!

First Vacation with 3 Generations

I can’t say enough nice things about this house and about the owner, Joan. She is hands-down the most attentive and gracious host we have ever met. You can expect Joan to treat you like a neighbor. She’s wonderful. My MIL and FIL have limited mobility and this house allowed us to all be together, whether we were outside by the river or on any of the 4 floors in the house. The elevator was great! The proximity to Milford and Frenchtown made grocery shopping very convenient. I even walked from the house to Milford for a little exercise. The house is just gorgeous—Lovely decor inside, beautiful outdoor accommodations, tons of games, and everything you need from spices for cooking to netflix for movies. We even learned how to play croquet with the set in the garage. So fun! We definitely plan to stay here again! I would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting.

Where to start about this wonderful property and an amazing vacation? Even weeks after I got back we still have beautiful memories and are swapping stories about this family vacation and will do for years to come. The practicals of course were all set up perfectly. Joan was amazingly communicative and check in was a breeze. The house is wonderful with plenty of space for even more people than we had for the week. Bucks County is always beautiful but being by the river was wonderful. We had a lot of rain the week before so the river was fast. Swimming only should be attempted by those who are strong and even so there's quite a current. We didn't use the canoes but enjoyed the bikes on the tow path, exploring the neighboring towns and swapping stories by the campfire in the garden. The main living area has room for plenty more with a large beautiful old wood dining table and an outside area that had us grilling every night and staying up late under the stars. We're already talking about going back next year.

Next best St. Thomas

My family and I were supposed to be headed to St. Thomas for our family vacation, but due covid the island trip we had been anticipating for the past year had to be cancelled 10 days before we were supposed to fly down to USVI. It was a scramble since all 11 of us still had scheduled time off and still yearning that vacation! — with such short notice and so many travelers, we didn’t have many options. We started scouring for places that could accommodate all of us and were by a body of water. We were about to land on Deep Creek Lake in MD, but at the last second found this gem in Upper Black Eddy, PA!! — it was truly perfect and just what we needed after that chaotic last minute change up. It was especially perfect because we didn’t have to purchase anything extra—Joan legit had everything we possibly needed! 2 kayaks, 8 tubes, ropes, water shoes, etc. You can go tubing right off the floating dock, which was convenient since we had little ones (2 & 5 years) with us. You could also help yourself to anything else she had in her super equipped and well organized garage! Air pumps, life vests, oars/paddles, a bucket full of hammers to go to the ringing rocks, adult bikes, kid bikes and strollers! She also has a mini shopping cart so you can roll your groceries in to the elevator. Joan has thought of it all!! Seriously, you won’t be disappointed when you book this place!! It’s a very beautiful home and the surrounding areas are just as fun to visit. My family and I enjoyed walking over the bridge into Milford, NJ—such a charming little town! There’s a lot nearby spots to explore, I wish we had more time to hit it all! Joan was a gracious host and she was a delight to work with. She had a nice bottle of wine with a note sitting in the kitchen to welcome us. She texted to make sure we got in okay. She had so many personal touches that you immediately felt at home. Definitely recommend this place!!! It’s truly lovely!!!
