The stone cottage was exactly what we needed for a great fall getaway. Located just across the street to the top path and within walking distance to an amazing winery that makes wine slushies and has live music. The home is so comfortable and has everything that you could need. Really comfortable beds with gas fireplaces, a beautiful bathroom with radiant flooring and heated towel racks. There were slippers and robes along with coffee for the Keurig. So many nice touches and such an amazing location so close to nature and new Hope and Lambertville. Lot of delicious restaurants nearby. Our favorite was dinner at the Stockton Inn and also.Nektar in New Hope. Make sure you go to the Stockton market to pick up lunch. We will definitely be back! Our dog loved the location too with so many long walks each day. Ed was a very responsive host.
Beautiful space with comfortable furniture and great location for accessing hiking on the C&O canal. It was a wonderful space for a girls trip and we much enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and indoor gas fireplace features. Ed was a very responsive host and offered great suggestions, would definitely stay again!
Lovely stone cottage. Quiet rural location convenient to so many fun things to do. Hose was clean and beautifully decorated/designed with extra special amenities like thick plush towels and bathrobes and nice outdoor species to sit at the end of a day of adventures with a nice glass of wine.
Had a great time at this story book cottage. It was just adorable and loved how it was fixed up and decorated. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels with 2 robes, heated floors in bathroom, and so much more. The spiral staircase up to the top floor added a little more character to the place. The outdoor space was great especially with the weather we had during our stay. Plenty of hiking around the area and walking across the bridge to The Black Bass and The General Store for meals was perfect! My husband even saw a black bear on one of his many walks. Wonderful place to get away. Definitely recommend.
