Belle, nouvelle maison située dans Hills Beach. Étapes de l'eau et de la plage. Hills Beach est au milieu de tout ce qui fait l'été dans le Maine spécial, mais assez loin des sentiers battus pour le rendre calme et reposant. Il est proche de la exitement de Old Orchard Beach, et les nombreuses activités amusantes long de la Route 1 à Saco, mais tranquillement retiré de la bande principale. Il est vraiment un petit bijou, pratique pour tous les équipements ou les activités d'une famille pourrait vouloir, mais à distance de marche des plages de sable désertes. Il est le paradis du pêcheur pour les internautes et, ou l'endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille classique.

Hills Beach Stay

Our family had a wonderful time at this charming cottage in the quiet stretch of Hills Beach in Biddeford, a lovely spot. As depicted this home was nicely decorated, very clean and welcoming, and in a fantastic location. I was thrilled with how well appointed and supplied the kitchen was - this made for several easy and fun dinners with family and friends in the area! Thank you Liz and John.

Great beach get-away!

This was just what I was looking for when I set out to rent a house near a quiet beach! Added perks: dog-friendly house and beach meant we could bring our daughter's dog. Three-floor living meant we could spread out and have private as well as shared space. Three minute walk to the beach let us come and go as often as we wanted. Nearby Kennebunkport and Portland were fun options. We loved the semi-private beach with lots of boats to watch and swim-able water temp. Super place!!!

Delightful!

The house is more spacious than I anticipated, and it had a lovely view of the ocean, which I was not expecting. It is well equipped, and thoughtfully decorated. It was much nicer than other seacoast cottages we have rented. We would definitely stay again!

A Gem

Our family (5 adults one dog) stayed here Fourth of July week and was so lovely. This place is super cute, cozy and the host had everything you could possibly need. The beach down the road was a short walk and beautiful and quiet. If you bring a dog they are right about the ticks. Ours got a few walking through the path. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed the house and the surrounding area was picturesque!

Quick July weekend trip

Had a great time for 6 of us, a couple with grandparents and 2 kids. Very spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The description is a bit coy as we were immediately impressed with the property and surrounding area. Would recommend to others but almost want to selfishly keep it a secret to make a return visit easier.

We enjoyed a wonderful weeklong family vacation at this charming home. Everything was exactly as described, and the house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to make the most of the coastal setting. Liz was a fantastic host—communication was clear and timely, check-in was seamless, and she always responded promptly to our questions.The location couldn’t be better, with plenty to see and do in the area for all ages—more than a single week can cover. Future guests should note that the house has quite a few stairs, though this wasn’t an issue for us. Each level has its own bedrooms and character, offering both comfort and privacy when desired.The neighborhood is peaceful, with friendly neighbors, and it’s just a short distance to beautiful beaches. It’s also a great place for walks, with plenty of coastal scenery, wildlife, and plants to enjoy.We thoroughly loved our stay and look forward to returning to this wonderful getaway in the future.

Maine get a way

This was our second year vacationing to Maine. It did not disappoint. The host was incredibly helpful and available if we had questions. The home is incredibly clean and organized. We appreciated the children’s books they had as we love reading to our children before bedtime. The AC came in handy as it was pretty warm a couple days we were there. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect for a fall getaway!

Nestled in a small and cute neighborhood minutes walk to a local dog-friendly beach! The house is very well maintained and very tastefully decorated. The hosts made sure to have have everything available and reached out a few times to be sure everything was fine. They thought of everything from towels and sheets to dedicated dog towels, leashes and poop bags! I even saw a dog cage in the garage if you can't pack your own. This is a gem! We hope to be able to visit again one day!

Great location

This place was a great location walking distance to basically a private beach. And a 30 min drive to additional beautiful places. This place would be great for older kiddos. Wasn’t the most ideal for our babies…. Lots of stairs and close to a somewhat busy street. Liz was fabulous she addressed every issue or questions we had in a timely pleasant manner. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed all this space had to offer.

Loved this house!

We had an amazing stay. Loved the use of linens, the beach chairs/umbrella/cooler/towels, lobster pots, My favorite thing was riding the bikes down to the end of the road. Loved the private beach access. What a beautiful location and view. Liz was great and communicated well. The house was decorated so cute. Couldn’t have been more satisfied. Thank you Liz! We will definitely stay here again when we come back in the future. Hopefully that’s soon!

A Breeze

Arrangements from start to finish were a breeze. Liz(homeowner) could not have been more attentive even inquiring if we needed heat on a cool day. Instructions were emailed ahead. Travel sites were outlined in a brochure. A quiet restful experience for a 3 year old to an 81 year old; the breeze from the deck and master BR was a bonus!

Beautiful Home with thoughtful touches all around

Our family of 5 (including my 81 year old MIL and 2 children, ages 9 and 7) and dogs brought in the New Year in at this beautiful house by the ocean. Liz was in touch from the moment we booked and John was "johnny-on-the-spot" with the snowblower and shoveling during a snowstorm. We were "stuck" indoors during the storm and there was no shortage of games to play and books to read. The house is immaculate in its cleanliness, and has so many beautiful finishing touches all over. The house is well stocked with spices, cleaning products, kitchen gadgets and utilities. Liz and John were nice enough to have thoughtful touches of the holiday all over the house. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of sheets and towels available. The kids did not want to leave. We will definitely visit again in summer!

Great place to stay in Biddeford - newly refurbish

We have a house near Hills Beach and needed a place for family coming to visit during Thanksgiving. This is a great house. It isn't right on the beach, but is a very easy walk and maybe most importantly has been completely refurbished within the past couple years. If you are looking for a comfortable place that is basically a new house and is an easy walk to a great almost private beach, this is the place. The owners were also nice and very helpful. They have a good book with plenty of hints to make your vacation easy (based on the guest book, I am a little surprised, I am the first to write a review). In any case, this is a very good and reasonable house for a great Maine getaway. If you aren't familiar with it, Hills Beach is a classic sandy Maine beach, but doesn't really have parking, so it is limited primarily to local homes. The bay is very flat and seems to go out forever in low tide (in high tide, the beach gets skinny, but is still very long). It is almost always calm and is a great place for kids to play in the sand and go swimming and have a great getaway.

Great Southern Maine Spot
