A Wave We Go is the perfect coastal retreat for beach lovers seeking comfort, convenience, and a peaceful setting just steps from the Gulf.

Tucked away on a quiet, dead-end road, this home offers effortless beach access with the shoreline only a one-minute walk away. You’ll enjoy the serenity of a low-traffic location while still being moments from dining, shopping, and local attractions.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, making it ideal for families and groups. Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully designed and include a king master bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with twin bunks and an additional trundle. Additional sleeping options include a queen sleeper sofa, a queen Murphy bed, and a chair-and-a-half single pullout in the living area. All mattresses were updated in November 2024 to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

An open-concept floor plan brings everyone together, with a spacious living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with all essential appliances and cookware. Whether you’re preparing family meals or quick beach-day snacks, the kitchen is ready for it all.

The home is loaded with amenities to enhance your stay, including satellite cable and streaming apps, a wet bar with an ice maker and mini fridge, and a full-size washer and dryer. Family time!

Great little place to stay especially if you like a slower pace, away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far you cant enjoy all of gulf shore attractions/food. Beach days were the best not crowded the Walk to the beach was very easy.

Beach house was great. The location was perfect and the beach was awesome. Only issue was that people not staying at any of the houses were allowed to park in the streets and block our driveway.

End of School Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location. Easy walk to the beach. The house was roomy enough for 5 of us. We had a problem with No Seeums the first night in one bedroom and someone was sent out to check on it,,,we sprayed and they left us alone. We had a great time and ate alot of great seafood. Only complaint is master mattress was not comfortable!

We appreciate your feedback Carter. The No Seeums can be out at dawn and dusk when there are no winds. Many local stores sell effective spray for them. Mattress comfort can be subjective. Great Location, Nice House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great location just a minute's walk from the public access to the beach. This section of the beach was quiet and not crowded. A 20 minute drive from town, a 10 minute drive to the Dauphin Island ferry, and a 20 second walk from a restaurant\grocery store\liquor store aka the Sassy Bass.The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils, silverware, glassware, and its nice! The deck is brand new.The Internet and TV services worked just fine and were more than what I expected.We had a great stay!The only things I would change are the mattresses for the queen bed and kid beds. Those mattresses are not comfortable, noisy, and are past their life span.

Great Little House!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our recent vacation. We rented it initially because Sassy Bass was literally right in the backyard. It's our favorite little spot in Ft. Morgan!! Turned out it worked out even better since my dad got sick on the way down from TN and ended up in the ICU for the first 3 days of our vacation. Being right beside Sassy Bass made it so easy to have a late dinner after spending the day at the hospital in Foley. The house was very clean and the rooms were set up perfectly. It was a short walk to the beach. We love Ft Morgan because the beaches there are pet-friendly. Our pups LOVE walking and running along the beach! We will definitely stay here again!! Oh, and the property manager (Dee Dee) was super friendly and checked in on us a few times to see how we were doing.

Great location, okay house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was AMAZING!! It was a short 3 minute walk to the beach. There were hardly any others around. The Sassy Bass market next door had ice and was so convenient. The house had all the cooking items we needed. When the toaster was broken, then property manager got a new one to us quickly. The AC worked well. The beds were a little squeaky and uncomfortable. The house definitely needs a good dusting from top to bottom. Towards the end of the trip, the we noticed condensation forming around the air vents in the ceilings and what was possibly mold. The property management company was extremely organized and timely in communication. Overall, the house worked for our vacation and we had a great time.

Great Vacay at A Wave We Go

We chose this home for its proximity to the beach, and the Sassy Bass was a bonus. We were thrilled to discover that the interior was much more updated and welcoming in person than the pictures suggested. It was incredibly clean, which we loved! The kitchen had nearly everything you could possibly need to make all your dream meals come true! This house can sleep a whopping 12 people, and the beds are so creative! We had plenty of towels for everyday use, and laundry was a breeze. The living room was incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had breathtaking views of the ocean from most of the windows on the east, west, and south sides. The water pressure is excellent, and it heats up in no time.We were delighted to see the house's dedication to sustainability, evident in the complimentary glasses and glass storage containers provided. And if you need plastic for the beach, be sure to bring them with you or pick them up. There's a fantastic variety of beach toys and other items in the storage area just waiting to be used! The AC worked like a charm at 72 degrees! There were so many outlets for charging things, and seating area underneath the house was delightful! We were a little puzzled at first about how the TV works, but we figured it out! Just make sure you're using the cable box remote and that your input is set to "unknown," and you're all set!Our group is hard on an ice maker, so we used that primarily for evening beverages.

We really enjoyed our stay at A Wave We Go! I traveled with my husband and two kids (5 & 8) plus our large mastiff. We loved that this house was pet friendly without size limits- most don’t allow large dogs! The house was very comfortable and larger than we technically needed per our person count. We would love to come back with more family next time! The proximity to the beach was so great, quick walk at the end of the road, made rolling our fishing cart a breeze. Literally next door to Sassy Bass restaurant and market which is stocked full of all of way more than I expected. The beds were SO comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. The property manager was friendly & quick to respond when I had questions. Nothing in the house seemed to need attention or fixing and all information matched the listing. I would definitely recommend a stay here at A Wave We Go!
