The house was in a great location surrounded by woods. Not too close to all the crowds, but not too far out. The house was nicely decorated, clean and well supplied. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Communication with host was not necessary as the binder left explained everything. I would stay here again.

Great hub to enjoy Door County. Clean, bright with good amenities. We had plenty of space for our large group of 7. The deck and fire pit has enough seating and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely return to the Oasis in the Woods!

This location exceeded expectations. The home was spacious, yet cozy-feeling. The accommodations were very comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare meals together. The setting of the home in the woods was so peaceful. I recommend this option without hesitation.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

Beautiful clean and cozy cottage. Perfect for a nice weekend away with friends. Beth was great at communicating and made check in and check out very easy. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Family Location in Southern Door County

Great location for a group needing 4x bedrooms. Plenty of room and a good layout. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Location was very quiet and located just off the main road so it's easy to get anywhere in the county. We would stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. They gave great suggestions of what to see and do. The home had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Hope to return real soon. Made some great memories on this trip.

The house was an ideal set up with the first floor bedroom, so grandpa didn’t need to take the stairs. We loved the fire pit and made memories. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Lovely Home

Great home with ample space for entertaining. The home has lots of amenities including surround sound speakers, fast internet and smart TV’s. One of my favorite places to stay in Door County! Beth was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Property was gorgeous. Immaculate. Had all the necessities for the weekend. Close to stores and shops. Had a wonderful weekend!!! Would recommend and will be coming back.

Amazing!

My friends and I had an amazing stay over the weekend! The house is in a peaceful wooded setting away from the crowds of Egg Harbor, yet is just a short drive to the shops and restaurants. The house is spacious, well decorated, fully stocked and incredibly clean! The owner, Beth, was very friendly and prompt in answering all of our questions. She went out of her way to make my 60th birthday celebration a memorable one! We will definitely stay here again! 💕

Wonderful lodging for our vacay

My sister and I selected Oasis in the Woods for our family vacation. We were looking for a place that could accommodate three couples and possibly one or two if our college-aged sons. While the boys couldn’t join us, we parents & grandparents enjoyed the cottage and found it suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed, as did the rest of the house. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and more. The deck was a comfortable spot for sunny late afternoons. It was truly an excellent home and our first choice for a future return visit.

The house was more than we needed with four bedrooms. However, we enjoyed the separation of master and guest bedrooms for privacy. The lower level was very cold and we had freezing overnight guests before we figured out the heaters. That should be in the house instructions/features. Loved having laundry on site. The kitchen small. Appliances dated like the house. But glad to have them, especially the dishwasher. Furnishings comfortable but dated. Still, they were in great condition. And so enjoyed the comfortable king bed in the master bedroom along with nice linens—not standard white thin towels and sheets like in many VRBO rentals. And frankly, I’ve never rented a property with so many generous touches such as hand wash at every sink, air freshener and ample toilet tissue plus Kleenex in both bathrooms. It’s those thoughtful little things that make a difference. Wonderful deck and fire pit in the backyard. The house was set in a quiet wooded area with privacy and beautiful flowers that blossomed while we were there. While further south in Door County, it was easy getting to all of our favorite shops, art galleries and restaurants.

Sibling Trip

We haven't been had a trip since before COVID and we picked Door County again as there were still places we hadn't been yet. The house/cottage we stayed at fit our needs very well and was a GREAT place for the 5 of us. We are 4 sisters and 1 brother traveling together so the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms we need are not an easy find! Things worked out perfectly. We do cook at least one evening meal and always eat breakfast where we stay so that is one thing we always look for. Communication with our host was amazing.

Beautiful home in nice secluded wooded area. The 3 year old had a blast exploring the trees around the house. With 1 bedroom upstairs and 3 downstairs it was great for the 2 families. It also had 2 sitting/tv areas in case you have older kids that want to be a little more independently playing. The stairs were no issue for our 3 yr old. Very clean throughout and nice set up in the kitchen. Had everything we needed. Close to a lot of things to do. Would stay here again !!

We had the most wonderful time at Oasis in the Woods with our 4 young adult children and 2 spouses for 4 nights. The house was spotless and spacious with multiple places for the 8 of us to spread out and play games, eat, or watch the World Cup. The back deck and fire pit surrounded by trees totally added to the natural oasis vibe. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the coffee and coffee maker!Beth was extremely easy to reach and gracious in her communications before and during our stay. The location is so convenient, just off of 42. We’d highly recommend this home to anyone and wish our stay could have been longer!
