Great place for our family vacation. Well maintained, very clean and well equipped. Great location for exploring Door County. Would definitely stay there again.
Property is set in a quiet, wooded area. Very relaxing for reading and enjoying a quiet morning. Beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom. Many spaces to explore and spread out into.
Very spacious and clean property and great for a large group. I was aware that the game room was not air conditioned but we did not use it that much. It would have been nice to have more seating in the living room (like a sectional sofa) but we managed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and took day trips around Door County.
Plenty of space, nice porches for relaxing (indoor and outdoor), great gameroom. Furnishings (main rooms and bedrooms) are a bit dated, but accurately shown in photos.
The owners live on the property and have full access to the rental portion (not private). Some rooms had no ventilation, so they could not be used when the sun/heat became too hot.
My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. Two of the days we were there, the temperature was in the 90âs so the game room was hot. But there were plenty of fans so it wasnât too bad. The other days were cooler so the game room was cooler too. Very clean place with nice beds and a well stocked kitchen. We highly recommend.
We did a girls trip to door county and so happy we chose this property to stay. It was outside of town but close enough to everything. Everything at the property was nice and the host was very responsive, there was a burnt out light and they fixed it the next day.
The game room was an extra bonus and gave so much more living space. We didn't do any cooking, but it looked like the kitchen was furnished nicely. We enjoyed the K-cups and coffee in the morning. Nice, quiet deck and sitting rooms to read and enjoy coffee. I would stay here again.
Everything went smoothly. The property was clean, spacious. There isnât AC in the game room and the floor fan in there wouldnât work all of the time. But, we were mostly out and about seeing Door County. Would definitely recommend this VRBO
The property was clean and located in a great spot for making day trips into Door County. The kitchen was great to prepare meals in for the five of us. The game room was an added bonus and place for us to gather and spend time together. It was quiet and Iâve never seen such pink hydrangeas in all my life! Beautiful! We had a marvelous stay and will keep this gem in mind should we vacation again in this area. Thank you! Lynne and Mike
Picturesque wooded property not far from Potawanomi SP. Neighbors were not too close and seemed peaceful. The second-story unit was clean with linens, paper towels, and dishwasher tabs. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and backyard. The game room is a large space with a pool table, Fussball table, and sectional couch with a large large-screen TV.
This stay was the perfect spot for a vacation for our family. Convenient location but also not in the hustle and bustle of sturgeon bay. The game room was icing on the cake for a space away from the rest of the living area when we needed it to hangout.
We booked out stay and were happily surprised to find a new bonus room that had a pool table, fussball table, card table and sectional sofa with tv in addition to the regular space. Owners were very nice and we were successful on our salmon fishing charter with 13 fish to freeze and they helped us to get them sealed and put in the freezer to store until we went home. We had two families of 4 and we had plenty of room and then some. We all brought bicycles and enjoyed bicycling a couple of days right from the house to Potawatomi Park onto the Ice Age Trail to Shoreline Road into Sturgeon Bay. Another day we rode from the home to Idelwild Penisula and found a public access point to the water and also a bar/restaurant that had live music outdoors that we stopped at and sat outside on picnic table to enjoy the music. It was a wonderful trip and there was a beach that we had hoped to ride too from the home but we just didn't have a long enough stay and hope to be back. We did take the bicycles for a day to Penisula State Park. Another day we enjoyed Cave Point Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park. So much to see and do in Door County. Highly recommend this home, nice private location with ease to get around. The owners do have two bicycles for renters to use. Lots of nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner and they even provided k-cups which was a nice surprise since we forgot coffee!!
Our group of five adult friends (including two couples) greatly enjoyed our weekend stay at this property! The unit was very spacious and well stocked with everything you might need, and the quiet and dark neighborhood made for a fantastic couple nights' sleep! We especially loved drinking coffee on the second floor porch in the morning and watching/listening to the birds (including a juvenile bald eagle!). Many of the Door County attractions on our itinerary were a relatively short drive away, so the property was a great home base for a long weekend. Highly recommend!
