Great price, great stay, good hospitality, amazing communication. Only thing I’d say is maybe an extra 2 tv’s for a big family but I’d recommend this amazing place and I would definitely come back. Thank you to the host for a beautiful family vacation!!!

This beautiful property served all of our family’s needs. We even had the added surprise of seeing synchronous fireflies in the backyard on our first night there. It was the perfect place to bring my parents and our tween daughters to enjoy some quality time and play games together!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was cozy, clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The kids especially loved having their own little area to relax and play. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay especially all the deer that visited everyday. The cabin was clean and well stocked, loved the mountain and ski decor. We would definitely stay here again. Check-in was easy, plenty of kitchen space.

Great Place! Beautiful Setting!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location to the top of the mountain and the resort. Also, Close to hiking and biking trails. Everything was clean and house had a great cozy feel! Would love to stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Very cozy, great fireplace, and plenty of room for everybody. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers and everybody was happy. We had all the amenities we needed for cooking and lots of extra blankets for anyone that needed them. It’s right off the main road which is so important for us when it comes to snow, everything is very easy to get to. The host was also very easy to get in touch with when I had a question! We would absolutely stay here again!
Huge fireplace and actually wood burning to get a true cabin feel!
Very easy to navigate steps to the cabin.
Beautiful location!
Great area for fire and plenty of room in the backyard. It also has a huge deck that we didn’t get a picture of.

Nice cabin good location

Great stay at this cabin. Even the weather cooperated and sent us some snow! Communication with the owner was good and he was helpful. The cabin had everything we needed and it is close to all the things we wanted to see and do. Will definitely stay there again someday

Great Location and Comfort

We had a pleasant stay at this mountain cabin on Beech Mountain. The property offered everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway.The beds were quite comfortable. The cabin's layout was particularly well-designed with two full bathrooms downstairs, which was incredibly convenient for our group.Being so conveniently located to the resort made it easy to come and go throughout our stay. We would definitely consider returning for future mountain adventures.

Wildlife visitors

Great cabin for a family! Beautiful house with comfy beds and it had everything we needed. It was also in the best location with so much close by. The children enjoyed seeing all the deer in the yard and around the neighborhood. We were also visited by a skunk, which was so cool to see! The nature trail was right out of the gate and was a fun adventure. Thanks for a great family weekend getaway!

Cameras Livestream Your Stay

The Good: the cabin is beautiful, the location is amazing. The Bad: There are two Nest brand cameras in the common spaces - a direct violation of VRBO's policies - and there were multiple times throughout our trip that the lights on the cameras were livestreaming. It was deeply uncomfortable to look up from eating breakfast and see that someone is watching you.

Skiing in March

We arrived through the rain but it snowed overnight and the kids got to experience their first snowfall. We skied Sunday and Monday and the place is less than 1 mile from resort. Lots of deer. Only disappointment was that the fireplace did not work. Would have been nice. The 4 boys ages 10-17 really enjoyed the loft and 4 bunk beds and my daughter and I enjoyed our space in the rooms below. Highly recommend.

Weekend getaway

We liked the location of the property. However, it looked like there had not been any grounds keeping in weeks, it was rather grown up around yard. The outside lights were not on when we arrived, not a deal breaker, but it's nice to have lights on for a cabin in the mountains. Especially when it's a place that you've never been and didn't know the property. Then we going out that they would not turn on at all so we had no outside lights the entire stay. Our biggest upset was that the trail listed on the property as a short walk just out of the gate, was closed. The trail was one of the main reasons that we chose this property, it should've been noted in the listing that it was closed for now, my wife was rather upset that it was closed. We returned early from our outing one evening to be able to walk the trail just to find that it was closed. We enjoyed the cabin itself, there is not much of an area to park as compared to other nearby properties. We would stay there again however, there were just a couple of disappointments and inconveniences. These are just personal things that may not bother other guests.

Great Cabin - but Not the best description of weather conditions.

The cabin is as listed. Gorgeous and so clean. But no where was it listed that in winter times you more than likely need a AWD or 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. We planned our kids Christmas and was not able to enjoy the cabin. The roads were unserviceable and froze over. We barely made it down the road to the house on the 1st night. Had to cut our trip early by 2 days bc the weather was turning worse while our stay. And freezing temps would have us stuck if we didn’t get out the next day. Our children wanted to tube and ski but if we stayed we would have been snowed in and unable to do anything. If we had someone tell us this before our trip we would have prepared better and hopefully been able to enjoy the cabin. The neighbors are great!! They are the ones that helped us get out for our children to have a happy new years and enjoy their Christmas presents. Did request a day of my 3 day trip for a refund but the contact person has never replied back. Sad on their part.

Robin, Thank you for speaking on behalf of the gorgeous and clean cabin. We do appreciate that! As owners we strive to be as transparent and honest as possible. It is our duty to do what we can to ensure that our guests are able to have an enjoyable stay regardless of the season. Typically, when you book a ski/tube vacation in the mountains, 5 minutes from the first chair, it should be expected that conditions for driving may not always be favorable. Additionally, there is a caution sign that is yellow and has a flashing light indicating the possibility of 4x4 or chains well before conditions get worse. That sign is 15-20 min before you reach our cabin. It gives you the option to turn around and make last minute preparations, like purchasing chains at the nearby store. If weather is indicative. We did our best to communicate with you through the platform and help with ideas and information so that you were able to accomplish the gift you were trying to give your children. VRBO has a policy that covers extreme weather. If you feel that the weather was extreme, I strongly advise you to discuss your matters with them. They may agree and help cover some of the costs you requested us to cover. It is outside our policy to refund based on the conditions you have stated. I am very keen to the weather there and know that the weather was typical high altitude mountain weather. You also noted that the weather was getting worse during your stay, however the weather showed temperatures in the mid 40’s the day and time you chose to leave.
