Excellent private get-away. The property was well stocked with everything you would need to feel at home. I had enough room in the driveway to park my pontoon/pickup truck and an additional 2 vehicles could also park there.
Loved the location just a short drive to the Marina. There was plenty of parking and the property owners were incredible, very quick to respond and above and beyond in their accommodations. We will certainly stay again.
Relaxing. Nice. Cozy. Bucolic. Lots of needed amenities. Great and fast communications. Extremely accommodative. Pleasant. Enthusiastically recommending the rental to couples' retreat with budget-conscious get-aways/excursions, to include small family (with well-behaved children.)
The house was great for what we needed. Had everything we needed in the kitchen plus linen and towels. There were 2 box fans which was a plus because we like the noise while sleeping. The swing set and fire pit area was nice. Property manager was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly.
Property needs some work, most importantly the master bathroom shower leaks into the floor when in use. Master bathroom toilet doesnât self fill, you have to reach in the back of the toilet to push the float to fill and flush. Back door not installed properly so it gets stuck every time it closes. And many other things I would not expect staying at a Vrbo or Air b&b property. The one positive was being able to get my family together under one roof. Also the fire pit was nice.
Cute and cozy! Perfect place for us to use as a home base while in town visiting family. Lots of attention to the details, kitchen facilities are up to date and super clean. Already looking forward to booking again!
I love the scenery! Beautiful in the fall. Our family lives in Lafollette so it was about 5 minutes away from them. The directions were spot on. If you are not use to winding Tennessee mountain roads, please be careful driving at night. The gps took us to an alternative route but in the day time... beautiful. Also came out of pocket and replaced the propane tank for the fire pit. Realized it was empty but wanted to enjoy it watching the sunset. Was worth it. Overall for the price. Would book again. Bonus was the coffee maker and everything pretty much fully stocked.
We enjoyed our stay here. It was in a good location, as we had friends staying at a campground near by. Only downside is that you cannot drive OHV on the streets near the house, which was still ok as we just drive our truck back and forth.
We live in Wyoming but are from Kentucky right across the border from Tennessee. We enjoy the lake, fishing, swimming and peaceful living. We are unable to live in Tennessee at this time so we thought it would be a good idea for others to enjoy what we have with their families.
We love the shores, the people that live here and the peacefulness. Lots of wildlife and country setting but town thatâs not far with everything you would need or want
This is more than just a rental place, itâs for family. We installed a play set for children because they enjoy things of that nature, or at least our kids did when we went on vacation.
