There is a small storage area designated for host use that is located beneath the hot water heater cabinet. Other than that, the rest of the casita is open for guest use. Other things to note Limit disposal of trash into outdoor bin during your stay. This will help reduce the likelihood of bears making a mess of the trash.
A comfortable one room cottage with one small bathroom. It is clean and everything inside works. It is designed for two person with two small couches inside with one small table in between along with a large bed. Wish there is one more small table for eating. The bed side reading lights are very dim and I had to use my phone to help with reading. The main reason for choosing it is the Tesla charger which allowed me to get a full charge every night to explore Sequoia park. It is over one hour drive to Wukachi Lodge or Crystal cave. Could not get the outside firepit to work. The owner offered pointers and phone help but I did not try. Driving is required to go to market or restaurants since it is not close to the main road.
Tucked away in Three Rivers, this location was the perfect getaway that gave us close access to Sequoia National Park. The hosts were attentive and on top of their check-in/check-out details (everything was easy to understand/instructions were very clear). The property itself was cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax. Highly recommended!
Itâs was an awesome place. Very close to town which made grabbing lunch or breakfast before going into the park a dream! It was a little place with everything you need and close to the national park.
Place was cozy and perfect for my wife and I as we explored the national parks for a weekend. We have a Telsa and the charger right outside was a necessity for enjoying the parks.
My husband and I stayed here during a Sequoia/Kings Canyon trip; it was lovely, very comfortable and private and so close to the park! Very relaxing, would absolutely stay again!
The Casita was perfect for my husband and myself. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the property was well maintained. The box of chocolates was a nice surprise!
We loved the place and the location. We kind of missed not having a table and chairs for eating and the fire pit gas tank was empty. Other than those two minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay.
Great location to Sequoia National Park. Had everything we needed and offered places where to eat. Prefect EV charging for me. I world definitely stay again.
Casita was a lovely place to stay so close to Sequoia National Park. A quiet neighborhood and lovely home. Danielle thought of everything and was great on proactively communicating plus provided recommendations for nearby markets and eateries. We would definitely visit again!
Great location, convenient to the national parks. The property has a terrific hot shower with plush towel awaiting after a hot, dusty day of hiking. Three Rivers offers quaint shops and restaurants that are less than a 5-minute drive from the property. The hosts provided excellent communication, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you, Jim and Danielle, we'll be back again!
The owners clearly took great care in laying out the amenities for their casita. If you are a coffee drinker, you have options and with coffee (grounds and k-cups) and creamer provided. If itâs tea, that is also made available. Kitchenette has drawers labeled, for the convenience of the guest. Bed was somewhere below firm. Travelers appreciate the little things, like soaps, shampoos and conditioner, as well as hairdryers. Clear attention to detail, and owners that aim to make a positive experience for their guests! Outdoor areas available for cooking/dining, as well as an induction burner if you opt for that or restaurants are closed when you arrive. Truly appreciated our stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our 2 nights here while visiting the Kings Canyon & Sequoia parks. Great location, loved watching the wild turkeys and ground squirrels roam the backyard and neighborhood! Very comfortable bed, which was important to us after exploring during the day. Great pressure in the shower!
