Petit mais très Familiale maison avec une belle piscine privée

Beau et bien entretenu maison (propriétaires encore des vacances chaque année dans cette maison). La cuisine, salle à manger et salles de séjour sont tous ouverts et connectés à promouvoir traîner ensemble. Une chambre à coucher et salle de bains sont également situés au premier étage. Deuxième étage contient deux chambres avec salle de bains et la connexion d'un loft. Deux grandes terrasses pour se détendre. Regarder les couchers de soleil sur le son de la plate-forme supérieure. Projeté dans le porche à côté de la cuisine pour profiter de repas al fresco. Belle piscine d'eau salée privée avec des tuiles personnalisées. exécuter les étapes complètes de la longueur de la partie peu profonde pour les enfants. Il y a une clôture de sécurité autour de la piscine pour protéger les petits.

Great outer banks visit

Really enjoyed our visit. House was a quick walk to the beach and close enough to bike to grocery store, ice cream, and several restaurants. Would stay again.

Lovely quiet beach house

We stayed at Rita's house for 5 nights this summer. The location was close to beach access and the pool was well maintained and private. We enjoyed the quaint and thoughtfully curated pictures and art displayed throughout the house as well. Would absolutely go back!

Great location, close to beach

House was true to pics. Close walk to beach, pool was perfect and felt great in the heat of day. Comfy home and had everything we needed for a quiet week away on vacation. Bike ride to ice cream, far away from traffic and crowds. Loved our week here! Highly recommend!

4th of July Vacay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place in the village. The pool was great opposed to dragging things to the beach everyday for small children. Would def stay here again and recommend to anyone with a small family!!

Great getaway

We love the Salvo area for its quiet seclusion. The walk to the beach is so easy, and the dunes are fairly mild. We could not below clean the house was when we arrived. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children. The pool was fantastic!

Home Away from Home

Every other review was spot on! Truly the perfect spot for our family of 4 great communal spaces, inside & out. Kitchen had all the essentials, and the beach was a hop, skip & jump away. Rita was very courteous, answering my questions in a timely fashion, and we are thankful for our time spent here.

Fun vacation

We had a great time at this house. Our kids loved the pool and riding our bikes in the quiet neighborhood in the evenings. My only small issue is that the curtains/blinds in the bedrooms had virtually no shading from the sun, so our kids were getting up earlier than normal with the sunrise.

We were so happy!

We loved the house! It was perfect for our big family. It was the perfect place for a socially distant vacation. We hopped over to the beach every day and loved the swimming pool! We would love to go back!

Family Friendly Salvo Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rita's Salvo home. It's very well maintained, has all the amenities, and is located close to the beach as well as the many shops and restaurants in Salvo, Waves, and Rodanthe. The pool provides a respite from warm summer days. I high recommend it for a vacation spot along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

A Great Little Getaway

A pool wasn't at the top of our list, but it sure came in handy! With hours spent at the beach AND in the pool, the kids went to bed tired. The house was nice and clean and had great amenities like a washer and dryer, games, and sun decks.

Great family vacation home

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and it was perfect. It is very kid friendly. The house is very clean as well as the pool. I have nothing negative to say. The walk to the beach was under five minutes. Kids loved having their own pool. We all had a great time and I would definitely rent this house again in the future.

Great little place in Salvo

We really enjoyed our time staying here. It's a nice little home in a good area. Beach is about a 3 minute walk away. The house is well kept and decorated with tasteful artwork. It had plenty of room for my family of 5. Having the pool was a big hit with our kids and gave them something to do while we were letting our youngest take her afternoon nap. The only complaint I would have about our stay is that towels aren't provided, which meant packing an additional full suitcase of towels. There is an agency in the area that rents towels and such for your stay but it is so expensive you'd be better off just buying cheap ones at a local Walmart or TJ Maxx in OBX and trashing them when you leave if you aren't wanting to lug them back home. Towel situation aside, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again.

OBX Vacation House

This house was a solid choice. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and CLEAN stay. The house has an open floor plan so it felt spacious enough for 6 adults (2 parents and 4 young adults ages 18-22). The beds are comfortable and the pillows were supportive. All of the windows have light filtering shades instead of blinds so they don’t block much light. We didn’t mind but it might be an issue for anyone that likes their room to stay somewhat dark during the early morning hours. The pool goes to about 5 - 5.5 ft deep and is a decent size with plenty of seating area around it. The beach is a short walk from the house which is a plus. I would highly recommend this house for a family looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay.

Adventures in Salvo

We can't say enough good things about the location in relation to the beach, the house accommodations, and having the pool. This was an amazing experience! The house had everything we needed, we grilled and ate at the house mostly- so we ordered food from Food Lion in Avon, which was about 20 minutes away(also a great little town to check out). The short walk to the beach was easy enough- we had an 11, 8 and 6 year old and unless it was super hot, they all traversed the dune path with ease. Beds were super comfortable, and lots of space! We loved the attached deck off the master bedroom. The beach items/gear were great and although we didn't use the bikes- having them there was a great option had we decided to take a tour of the area. Host was responsive and answered any questions we had, as well as getting us checked in a bit early after it was ready of course, after our overnight 18 hour drive. If we ever return to the area and have a large group- we would stay here again! 5 stars!

I understand most houses in the beach is old, but this was out dated! Rust n stains at many places. Pots were pretty old. Drainage was slow. Cracks on most of the screens, a few on the cabinets, n microwave door handle was loose on one end. I had to notify the landlord before I was gonna be charged for these. Pool was nice n cold, only plus.

First time in OBX; we loved it

We loved this house. It was perfect for us (4 boys ages 7, 5, 3, and 1 as well as one set of in-laws). The layout felt spacious, and it was great to have our little family upstairs sharing a bathroom and the in-laws downstairs. It was about 5-7 min walk to the beach which our children could do (except the almost 2 year old), and the house came equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach toys. We just loved our stay. The pool was such a nice break from the sand. The property is obviously very well cared for, and it is apparent that it is still used by the owner. It was so helpful to have a small grocery store with the necessities 3 min driving away. We loved the quiet town and the quiet beach! Perfect for families. My one negative was that on our last night, we did see a cockroach scurrying across the deck, but no signs of infestation within the house, which did seem clean.

Great house in the OBX for a family!

This house is perfect for a large family or 2 smaller families. Great beach house a block from the beach. Owner was very responsive and helpful. The area is beautiful and there is everything that you expect around to have a great vacation. We will be coming back.

Perfect Family Getaway

From the time we entered the home to the time we left, everything was perfect. Unfortunately this property is already booked for next summer because we considered coming back next year. There was a grill that we used everything night which was great. There is a basketball hoop, but no ball, so if you want to play bring one with you! The private pool is amazing!!!!! We really enjoyed our stay!
