NEW Construction! Modern chalet with spectacular views near Sunday River!
NEW construction, timber-frame home is located 12 minutes from Sunday River and 5 minutes from historic, downtown Bethel. Quaint Mt. Abram is 2 minutes down the road and offers a small mountain experience.
This new home is nicely appointed with heated concrete floors, custom artisan cabinetry, and carefully curated interior design elements such as the gorgeous exposed beams, modern lighting, and updated finishes throughout. The live-edge dining table and mudroom bench are handcrafted by the owner, who is a skilled architectural woodworker.
This area has something for everyone during every season! Apres ski at one of the many bars and restaurants in and around town and the mountain, or enjoy cocktails and an exceptional view in the new hot tub on the property. For summer and fall guests, thereâs mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, a great bike path that runs along town, or grab a cooler and float down the Androscoggin River. You can also do nothing at all and just soak in the gorgeous views from your spot on the deck or in front of the gas fireplace.
Note: Make sure to bring your AWD vehicle. Thereâs a reason the view is so spectacular! The driveway is steep but worth it. You can see Mt. Washington on clear days! * Full information on parking options and snow removal provided in the welcome package.
Beautiful property with everything you need! The views alone are amazing! We enjoyed skiing close by at Sunday River. The hot tub was a lovely way to start and finish the day. The decor and overall vibe of this chalet is one of peacefulness and ease. The best stocked kitchen I've come across . Hope to return !
We had a great stay! The proximity to Mt Abram, XC skiing and downtown Bethel was perfect for our families. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and with a great view of the mountains. We will gratefully return for another ski weekend!
Our stay was perfect! The entire space was beautiful: decor & furnishings, the views, amazing memories created! Thank you so very much for sharing with us!
wonderful family time in a lovely, aesthetic timber frame
It was beautiful and beautifully furnished without the kitsch "you're in the mountains" thing. The view was great, and getting in the hot tub at the end off the day skiing was wonderful. Cooking was easy here as there were many kitchen utensils and pots. The only thing we would have liked was a bathroom up on the third floor! this is a great place!
We had the pleasure to stay recently at this beautiful home. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub at night, truly amazing. You canât beat that view!
The accommodations were new, modern and very comfortable. We've stayed at a fair number of rentals in New England and this was among the best. Owners are very helpful and its clear they've put a lot of time and effort into making this a special place. For skiers, it's very close to Sunday River and Mount Abram which was very convenient. Would definitely recommend!
The house is beautiful, clean and modern. Spacious but also very comfy. Beautiful views. The check in and check out couldnât have been simpler or easier. We will be back.
This house was absolutely perfect! My new husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon around new england. This was the second place we stayed during our trip and it was so hard to leave!! We wanted somewhere central (to see the fall colors in Maine and New Hampshire), near some restaurants, but also to have some space to ourselves. This house had all of that and more! The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need - including comfortable beds, hot tub (with a view!), and easy to use fireplace. You really couldn't ask for more! I've already shared this listing with my co-workers who are going to new england next fall and told her staying here is a must. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
We had the most amazing stay at this modern chalet! From the moment we walked in, it felt like the perfect blend of luxury and coziness with the most idyllic view. The attention to detail in the design was incredible, with clean lines, warm wood tones, and thoughtfully curated decor that exuded a true hygge atmosphere. The amenities were absolutely top-notch. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them at the large, inviting dining table. The living area was a dream, with a plush sectional sofa, a fireplace that added the perfect touch of warmth, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The bedrooms were equally impressive, featuring comfortable beds with soft linens, plenty of storage, and lighting that felt both functional and ambient. The bathrooms were spa-like, complete with heated floors and a rainfall shower that we didnât want to leave. What truly stood out were the extras that made this property feel special: the outdoor hot tub under the stars that was perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing, and a cozy nook on the second floor that became a favorite spot for the kids. Which they proclaimed as the kids lounge and bedroom the very first day.Whether we were sipping coffee in the uplifting morning light around the kitchen island or gathering around the living room in the evening, every moment here felt magical.
We had a terrific time at Angie and Chrisâ house! The house is so beautiful and so well appointed. We had just about everything we needed in the kitchen to make a nice dinner. The rooms all had high quality bedding, lots of pillows, and comfy beds. There were enough towels to go around. The gas fireplace was cozy when we had a colder night. The hot tub is on the front porch overlooking the valley and at night with all the lights in the house off you get a great view of the stars. Thereâs a grill and a nice big outdoor table with an umbrella. But the viewâwe kept talking about what a great view it was and spent a good amount of time just enjoying it. Angie and Chris were great communicators and answered our questions within a few hours. Bethel is a cool little town. Nothing too fancy but there is a grocery, a cafe, a park, some antique store, and a few restaurants. I would agree with the posting that a 4WD or AWD vehicle would be best, especially in the winter, as the gravel driveway was steep. We were in a 2WD sedan and we had to take a second pass at getting up the driveway a few times. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!
This property is immaculate and absolutely beautiful!! The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family annual weekend away and the loft area/bedroom was perfect for our daughters and grandkids. Beautifully decorated and fully stocked kitchen! The hot tub while snowing made our weekend! What a great place!!
Angie's place is outstanding in every way! Comfortable spaces, well stocked, beautiful view from the deck (and hot tub!) My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay whether playing games in front of the fireplace, cooking in the well appointed kitchen or relaxing in the hot tub. The ski areas are close by as are other amenities, but the location is private. You will not regret staying here regardless of the season, I highly recommend Angie's place.
