Nice place on safe street. Quiet with easy drive to downtown. Couldn't have been better situated!

House was easy to locate and access. There were some minor cosmetics that can be fixed up. We used it to stay for a Busch Gardens trip. The neighborhood was a little iffy, but it was a good place to sleep and use for the weekend.

Short stay

Went to this location for a short stay and definitely surprised me with the size. Would definitely visit again.

Terrible location. This is not a quiet or safe neighborhood. No parking in front of the house due to what appeared to be someone living in a van. Large groups of loud people gathering up and down the street. Witnessed multiple drug deals right in front of the house within only a few hours after arriving. We did not stay. We reached out numerous times to the owner with no response. The only communication received from the owner was what seemed to be automated, ai generated messages. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. I would not recommend this to rental to anyone.

What I liked, I loved: clean interior, well-equipped, spacious, a lot of “old house charm,” responsive host! Short drive into downtown. What I didn’t like, I hated: the neighborhood! Both nights, someone was racing up and down the street and gunning their engine at 2 am. Litter, litter everywhere including condoms and broken liquor bottles. Liquor stores are the only businesses in the neighborhood and there’s one on every corner. Did I feel unsafe in that neighborhood? No, but I’d still describe it as sketchy. The exterior of the house is not maintained well. When we first drove up, I thought, this can’t be it. The yard was over grown with weeds, the porch was filthy, but again, the interior was spotless. Would I recommend this place? Not without a warning. Again, it was clean, spacious, well-equipped, but not without its issues.

Convenient location!

My stay was okay. The location was super convenient, and check-in was a breeze. My family and I stayed for a weekend for a reunion, and we were just a short drive from everything, which was awesome! However, some amenities didn't quite meet my expectations. The host was really responsive and did their best to help. With a few improvements, it could be a fantastic place. I'd consider staying again!

Stayed for Softball Tournament

We arrived late on Friday evening. The house was as described, clean, well stocked and easy to access. The neighborhood is a little spicy- definitely active at night. I would say the area is in transition. We would stay here again.

Exactly what was needed

Stayed with friends for a girls trip. Convenient location. Marvin was responsive. Only issue was the towels and washcloths were beyond gently used (bleach stains). Luckily, we had brought our own anyway. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

The neighborhood is diverse and mot a bad neighborhood. My cleaning staff showed me a video of all of the dishes and the apartment in great and clean condition so not sure what you are referring to. Additionally, you damaged some of the fixtures and left the property in a worse condition then received, thus don’t think your review is actuate. The listing also doesn’t say hot tub anywhere on it. So you were mistaken again.

Interior was clean and well appointed. The photos do not show that the rental was up a steep set of steps just to get to the lawn. Not in the least handicap accessible which is not noted in the write-up. The upstairs rear bathroom's door was broken as well as the lavatory stopper rod was disconnected. The toilet roll holder of the upper rear bathroom and the downstairs bathroom had missing mounting brackets. Multiple blinds on both floors had multiple partial or missing slats. Two of those who were going to stay declined to do so in part because of the neighborhood and the lack of adequate parking. The rest left a day early in part because of the neighborhood.

Minor problems

Overall good stay, we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner at the location. We had sufficient items and utensils to work with. Small problems are front door exterior light on porch not working. Also shower water does not get hot enough. Water from facet will scald but the showers are not adjusted to provide adequate hotwater. The neighborhood is less than desirable but tolerable for those that live in an ethnicly diverse environment. I was ok with this because I live in an ethnicly diverse neighborhood; however, some might feel uncomfortable. Parking is on the street which Ifound less than desirable. I felt that the price I paid was high for the location. Overall value moderate.
