It is also really good to hear that there were plenty of towels and linens, which many homes do not have, and that baby items were available if needed. Hardly anybody ever mentions those Jamie, and it is great that you did, and so much appreciated. Citrus & Sage is a home tailor made for families, and these owners have done everything they can to make it one that families will enjoy, and return to over and over again because they feel it is a home away from home for them. Thank you for the rating Cindy. I appreciate you taking the time to leave it, but would be interested to know what could have made your stay better as we received no reports of any issues at all during your stay and assumed that you must have enjoyed your vacation and been happy with everything.

Oh dear. To give such a low rating, and pad it out with false and untrue comments, all because a guest didn't want to pay for pool heating in a vacation rental, is an act of petulance that you would struggle to find in a Kindergarten. There were no dirty dishes, or old food. Really? I spoke with this guest, and shared several messages too, all prior to arrival, during which we gave him an early check in free of charge, as we do for many guests when the opportunity arises. His last email was this ' Thank you so much'. At no point after that were any comments made, verbally or in writing, about any dirty dishes, or anything negative about the home, yet now, to hurt us and our listing, they appear in the review. He wanted pool heat free, and asked once about it. We told him that the charge for pool heating, which is mentioned several times in our documentation when a guest books the home, and is charged by every other company too, without exception, is $25 per day. We were transparent about it, we always are, and in all fairness to us, every other guest appreciates that level of honestly, but not this one. I could say more, I want to say more, but what is the point? A guest that would stoop this low, just to make a point and show his inner child, is hardly going to change the rating now, so we are stuck with it because VRBO always support the guest in these matters. Suffice to say that we have made it abundantly clear to the guest that he will never be allowed anywhere near us in future, and that a little more maturity might be needed if he is ever going to arrange a family vacation again.

I am really pleased that Citrus & Sage worked for you and your family, from the space it provides, to the pool and spa which are among it's best features. A couple of guests have now mentioned the amount of space here, over 1800 square feet of it, and it is really nice when they do because that is one of the main reasons a family would book a vacation home over a hotel room, so thanks for that. Regarding the towels, just for clarity I have to say that while we do not supply pool towels because guests tend to leave them at the resort pool, we do supply over 30 towels for the home itself. The 2 in each bathroom you mention are there mainly for show, and for convenience when you arrive. The rest are in the closet, along with extra sheets for the beds. We will try to make that more obvious going forward, but in the meantime I thank you again for choosing Evergreen for your family vacation Rebecca, and for your great review.
