Traditional and cozy Michigan house, 4 minutes away from downtown and walking distance to local market and Bus station stop. With washer and dryer in the basement for additional convenience. The house was recently remodeled and newly furnished. (Just wanted to add that the house is next to busy street and is convenient for people that commute to work)
I was in Lansing for business and stayed at the property for 9 days and everything was perfect. If there were any issues the host was right on top of them with a quick response and fix. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
Yes my stay was good. However me and my wife got into a heated altercation and I thank god I paid for you guys property protection fee I apologize at all expenses.but they stay was awesome and if I ever come back I will be alone thank you.
This little cottage was adorable and well renovated. It had everything needed for a short vacation stay. Pros: The inside of the house was spotless clean. The beds were super comfortable and the nice sofa was plenty roomy for three adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and enough space for the 3 of us. Cleaning supplies were on hand. The bathroom was very nicely done and the water pressure was good.Cons: The only air conditioner in the property is a small window unit that was unfortunately not on before we got there. It was quite hot in the house. This however is only really a small con as once the house has a few hours to cool down, the one window unit is plenty to keep the main areas cool. We did have to sleep with the bedroom doors open to get the bedrooms cool at night. No big deal. The exterior electronic door lock died and locked us out; a locksmith was needed to get us back into the house. Owner plans on replacing the entire entry lock so shouldnât be an issue in the future hopefully. Overall we really liked Simons place and would definitely recommend with all honesty.
The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and basic needs were provided (and more). The washer&dryer was very helpful for extended stay. Simon was very responsive to my questions as well. My family enjoyed their stay and Iâd recommend this place for others.
The property is right on a main road, traffic noise was terrible. The house smells of old cigarette smoke, you can smell it even on the front porch. Lack of hand towels for bathroom and no towels in kitchen. Laundry in basement was gross, someone threw the dryer lint on the floor, empty laundry soap bottles were thrown on the floor as well, we didnât use it.
Needed some place to stay for 2 months. It's suited my needs and he was very responses even issues came up. Only negative is that there is virtually no kitchen storage space, which is really needed even you have groceries. Also replace the cookware: the nonstick pans are so scratched up they've become cancer pots. I'd just bring your own
