Amazing customer service
We had an amazing stay at this condo. The photos do not do justice to how nice everything is and how amazing the views are from every room. The condo was well stocked and the customer service was above and beyond. When we had a minor question pop up our hosts responded in minutes! We are definitely planning on staying again soon.

Expectations met and exceeded
This is best location at the South Padre. The condo has unobstructed views of the gulf and the bay. Thumbs up to the architect for taking full advantage of the rooftop terrace space. Large glass-enclosed area that creates wind-free zones for enjoying amazing views. Sunsets over the bay-side are unbeatable.
The condo itself is well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay.

Best terrace and balcony in south padre
Beautiful condo with amazing outdoor space. Very spacious terrace. That sits 20 stories up in the sky with panoramic views of the water in the gulf and the bay. outdoor dining table, lounge, chairs, hot tub, pergola, the works! We have stayed at two other penthouses on the island and prefer this unit by far.

My family and I have been coming to SPI for many years now. We’ve tried a few condos/house through the years but our recent stay at Sapphire 2006 has just been over the top!
The condo was very clean, modern, and had lots of things we needed. Top that off with our very own hot tub! I almost didn’t want to leave the room. We also enjoyed a very nice massage at the spa, which was conveniently located on the 1st floor.
On our 2nd night, we had a minor issue with the AC but was quickly fixed by the staff. Overall, it was an excellent weekend and Sylvia communicated with us very well regarding our issue. Will definitely be staying again!

Two main problems1. The game room on the first floor was filthy unsanitary and a danger to the children’s health.2. The lack of functioning TVs. One didn’t work at all, and every system was different and lots of channels could not be reached. The remotes were not functional. Any mid range hotel would have much better remotes and TV options.

We strive to provide every guest with an exceptional experience and work to ensure everything is prepared to the highest standards. At times, however, there may be circumstances outside of our control.
Regarding the game room in the building, you noted a strong odor. While I have never encountered the space in an unsanitary condition, I immediately followed up with the General Manager the next morning (as your message came in after 8 p.m.). At that time, no odor was detected.
With regard to the televisions, I personally inspected each unit after your departure and verified that they were all functioning properly. As noted in our listing, the TVs are set up for streaming services only and do not include cable. Occasionally, if the input setting is changed on the remote, it can cause the screen to appear blank or incorrect.
We were also surprised by your 3-star rating, as the condo, private rooftop hot tub, and patio were all meticulously cleaned for your stay—and you enjoyed one of the best views on the island, including a front-row seat to the latest SpaceX launch.
Lastly, I’d like to clarify that the Sapphire is not a hotel, mid-range or otherwise. These are beautiful, privately owned condominiums that we, as owners, are pleased to share with our guests.
