Luxurious beachfront retreat on Lake Superior!

Enjoy stunning sunrises from the deck while listening to Lake Superior waves lap the shoreline. Located on the east side of the Keweenaw Peninsula, near Houghton and Calumet, this house offers panoramic views of Lake Superior and Big Traverse Bay. The pure white sand beach is more than 100’ deep and more than three miles long.

The house offers 3 bedrooms of a king, queen and two twin beds, and two full baths, sun room, outdoor shower, deck and lanai with stunning views of Lake Superior. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room have beautiful morning light with large windows, making it the ideal place for morning coffee and gatherings. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for holiday gatherings or casual cooking and includes granite counters, Miel dishwasher, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and comes fully stocked with pots, pans, spices, and plenty of cutlery.

The master bedroom and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and custom live edge vanity are on the main floor with two additional bedrooms and a full bath on the lower level. Unique furnishings and decor highlight the areas natural features and give this house a clean, modern open feel. Two kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard are available to enhance your enjoyment of the water. Outdoor shower, hammocks, and deck furniture are available from May - October. Construction was completed in spring 2023.

Wildlife such as bald eagles, sand hill cranes, beavers, geese, ducks, and deer are regularly seen. Great blueberry picking in late summer/early fall on the property, nearby public parks and a pick-your-own blueberry farm just a few miles away. Superb fall colors make autumn a beautiful time to visit. The Keweenaw offers downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, world-class mountain biking, fishing, boating, copper mine tours, two national parks, antiquing, hunting, light houses, beaches, spas, kayaking, historical tours, and much, much more.

Gem of a place

My family loved our stay here. We stayed in 2 places while on vacation in the UP & this was our favorite- wishing we had stayed longer. We cooked all our meals while here & the kitchen was wonderful. The beach is gorgeous, and we even did a "cold plunge" as a family in the lake. Truly a gem of a place.

Everyone loved the beach house! Great layout to accommodate a variety of guests. It was the perfect place to spend time with family and celebrate our son's graduation. Todd was a great host!

Amazing home

Location matters! I really needed a vacation away from cars, trains and planes. The quiet peacefulness of this home was remarkable. Everything about the house was wonderful, and Todd's communication really made it easy to enjoy our time. Looking out from the master bedroom to the lake is a one-of-a-kind experience that can't be beat. Cooking for my family in the gourmet kitchen was a pleasure. I brought eight fancy meal kits and they were a breeze to make using the wonderful equipment here.My kids enjoyed the extra space to relax in after busy days exploring the peninsula. very grateful that we got to experience the house, the beach, and the nearby communities! Thank you!

Beautiful getaway on Lake Superior

This property was a hidden gem! Such beautiful sunrises/sunsets and very peaceful. The property itself was very clean and spacious enough for our whole family. We will be planning on coming back in the summer!

We came up for a quick getaway weekend and the house was everything we could have asked for....it was clean, had enough beds for all of us, and the location on the beach was awesome. Our only complaint was we wish we had more time.

Modern Beach house in UP near Lake Linden

This beautiful beach house was the absolute best one yet! Great for 2 and room for 6. Perfect for families, kids or just a pair of old fogies! We had 3 days and nites of gorgeous weather, and a perfect location to check out the Keweenaw Peninsula and all it has to offer. Just enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves was pure enjoyment. We would definitely return to this jewel if we return from the Lone Star state!

Perfect!

This is a perfect location for a getaway. My family stayed for a short weekend and Todd was so accommodating and responded so quickly to my questions. Best views for sunrises and sunsets! Highly recommend this location if you’re coming to the area. Everything we needed was there for us to use, felt just like home!

Wonderfull house on Lake Superior

This is a beautiful modern house on a long, long stretch of golden sand beach. The house has tons of windows and high ceilings so you feel like you are outdoors. It is a two level house so is perfect for larger family or just a couple (one bedroom on the main floor). It’s minutes from a boat launch. There are also smaller inland lakes nearby. The hosts are very nice folks. There is a lot to do in the area in spite of the feeling of being remote. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing!!

Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. I hope to come back to go rock hunting! Thank you so much for having us and letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Fabulous Home and Fabulous Beach

We had a wonderful stay. Todd was quick to communicate. The home was exactly as described and the beach was beautiful. There are books, puzzles, and games for all ages. Child life jackets, extra beach towels, and nature as your playground. We could’ve stayed longer! A true gem!

Family trip

What a gem of a place in the UP. Every last detail was thought of. The house is still finishing up final details but the location was perfect. Having kayaks to use, a fire pit and hammocks was wonderful for my boys 15 and 18. We enjoyed the morning sunrises and star gazing at night. We will be back for sure. Thank you for sharing your little piece of UP heaven with us.

Return to the Keweenaw.

This place exceeded our expectations. Just unbelievable. Shared my old Tech memories with the Family. So much to see and so little time. The week flew by. The wild blueberries on property were very tasty every morning. The beach was amazing. The sunrises were spectacular. Hard to put in words the overall experience for the week. Thank You! btw, the wine was gone before we unpacked the first day. Nice touch. Thank You.
