Blended family

My family stays in the area every year. This year my boy friend with his teenage children and myself with young adult children rented our own cabin so they could get to know each other better. Great stay and bonding time!

Exceptional Property

Home comfort was exceptional. The view was worth the visit. We enjoyed the media room for ballgames and fellowship. Recommend a four wheel drive vehicle to reach home. Would stay again. Thank you for sharing the home.

Thanksgiving 2024

It was awesome!!! Except the unforcasted snow. We were not able to get to our cabin due to icy/snow driveway. Had to walk in the dark with 4 children about a 1 mile up hill. Left our vehicles down the bottom of driveway. Over all the place was amazing!!! Cabin could use a deep cleaning.

View is stunning but there are several items that need to be addressed

We had a great time but there are a few things that could help improve this property: 1. The final road into the property needs work. Pot holes on the narrow rod make it unsafe and the vegetation needs to be cut back so you don’t scratch your vehicle. 2. Movie room projector shuts itself down every 20 mins making it unusable. 3. Two hot tub head rests need to be replaced 4. The shower drain and the faucets were clogged in the upstairs bathroom 5. None of the bathrooms had travel shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Most rentals these days have extras like that. 6. The dishwashing detergent was not enough to run a load of dishes.

We appreciate your 4 Star Reivew at Owl's View! Your feedback is so important to us to ensure that things are up to standard for each guest. The access to this cabin has some steep areas but that equals amazing views! We recently visited the property and there was no vegitation hitting our vehicle and the pavement was broken some but we did not note any pot holes that concerned us. As for the movie projector, we would have liked the opportunity to service/check into that, as we were not aware that it was not properly working. Some homeowners offer travel toiletries but we do not advertise it nor supply it, so guests should be prepared with their own. We expect guests to have enough dishwasher detergent for 2-3 loads during their stay so I am sorry you did not experience that. We will look into replacement parts for the Hot Tub headrests. This home is amazing. The views are truly stunning. I am not an early riser but I had to get up before dawn every morning just to get a picture of the beautiful sunrises. The handiwork of God is truly breathtaking! Thank you for sharing this amazing home with others so we can enjoy it. The theater room was a huge it for our soccer fans in the family so they could watch all the games all week in that room on such an amazing screen. This is truly a vacation to remember!
