Holston View Hideaway
Spacious secluded Barn minutes from South Holston River.
Our relaxing and hidden barn is perfect for a quiet retreat or the perfect crash pad after fishing on the surrounding rivers and lakes. Stay in and cook your meals in our fully equipped kitchen or head-out to our local coffee shop, diner or tap-house. The barn has a small outdoor patio and short trails around the property for a quiet stroll through the woods. On the studio style main floor you will find the kitchen, dining area, living room, full bathroom and studio bedroom with a queen bed. Upstairs is where you will find the spacious master bedroom with a king bed and sitting area with views of Holston mountain and the surrounding woods. Lots of wildlife viewing through the year with deer, turkey and fox around the property.
Highly recommend this gem. The space is secluded in the woods and nature is everywhere. Hosts were great communicators and very helpful with questions. If we come back next year this will be our choice.
It was perfect location from the track. Property manager was easy to communicate any issues and fast to respond. Would definitely recommend the property.
Close enough to the track that it was convenient, very quiet, unexpected visits from nearby wildlife throughout the day. Downstairs bedroom is studio set up in front of only bathroom, Upstairs loft was nice. If I go to another Bristol race, I will be staying here again!
Overall was an amazing experience, the place is absolutely stunning just like the pictures show. Did have a little trouble getting there since the GPS was not showing the correct location but eventually found it and had a wonderful time
Wonderful property! Close to everything we needed. Cute cozy little get away spot! Super clean and everything needed was provided! Definitely would come back!
Overall, we love the property from pulling up. You can definitely tell a lot of love and detail was put into every aspect of turning this barn into a very spacious and inviting area. The seclusion of the barn at the back of the property lends to a ton of privacy. Inside the rustic feel along with the modern touches really gives you a sense of calm and relaxation that you werenât expecting from a barn setting. I would like more outdoor spaces to enjoy the nature aspect of the property, maybe a fire pit with cozy chairs as it is such an amazing environment. The bathroom was absolutely amazing. I would also love a washer and dryer. I am one of the people who really love to go home with clean clothes I hate packing up dirty items that would be a bonus, but the kitchen was perfect for what we needed having freshwater in the fridge that was already filtered was an absolute bonus. I didnât have to pack any. The bed was comfortable the bedrooms were spacious. The seating was comfortable and the air condition worked. Thatâs all I can really ask for. Overall I would definitely stay here again. The town was lovely. The neighborhood was safe. I felt very ease coming and going definitely 10 out of 10.
Property was exactly as described. Secluded, quiet location 12 minutes from Bristol Dragway. Beds were very comfortable, mini-splits kept the barndo nice and comfortable at night. Would definitely stay here again!
I have traveled extensively as a Pro Basketball coach both here, in Europe and South America. This house was the nicest, most peaceful and relaxing environment I have ever been in. Joshua and his wife Amber were very gracious hosts and the house is absolutely stunning ! I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelling to this area ! We are looking forward to our next stay !Coach Art Ross
First time but won't be the last. Perfect for 2. Had 2 friends stay over for 2 nights....gets a bit tight. We all loved the quiet and sitting outside watching the horses and deer graze. Clean and cute!
My family and I loved this property. The barn structure was both cute and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was personable and very accommodating. Each day right outside our door we were greeted by a family of deer. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Josh! Rose C
We, a family of 4 from Norway, stayed in the barn 3 days while visiting Grandpa. The barn is just as you can see on the photos, if not even better. And very clean.
You must do the dishwashing manually, but that was just fun. We made easy dinners there and had everything we needed to do.
The area around is so quiet, and really great for nature lovers! We had dinner outside at the terrace, looking at the fields and the farm animals a small distance away.
Heating is not the best choice for being in the teens, had to keep sending the owner a message to ask how to light the fireplace. If they know someone is coming yo stay then they should have it already on being thats the only heating source. Mini split can not heat that barn. Also needs lights around the barn to see going to the door. Only had 4 towels and 4 washclothes for 3 days for 4 people. only heating source. ALSO NEED
