Cadre privé sur la rivière Doe. Deux chambres, deux salles de bain. Rambler récemment rénové. À moins de 25 minutes du Bristol Motor Speedway, de Roan Mountain, du lac Watauga et du sentier Tweetsie. Près de l'ETSU et du Milligan College et situé au centre de la célèbre "Southern Dozen" pour les passionnés de moto. Le centre-ville d'Elizabethton est à proximité. Privé mais proche des commerces.
La rivière Doe est réputée pour la pêche à la truite, en particulier à l'automne. Nous avons 400 pieds de front de rivière pour la pêche et / ou le kayak. La maison est située à quelques minutes de la rivière South Holston ainsi que de la jonction des rivières Watauga et Doe, l’une des meilleures zones de truite de l’est de l’U.
Asseyez-vous sur la grande terrasse et profitez simplement du calme et de la tranquillité. Super endroit pour s'évader et se détendre. Cuisine complète avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Lit king size en maître. Deux jumeaux XL en chambre d'amis. Barbecue à gaz pour cuisiner sur le pont, meubles confortables à l'abri et table de cuisson au propane pour vous garder au chaud pendant les mois les plus froids. Always amazing!

This is my second stay at this property but won’t be my last! The host is so helpful and is very quick and responsive. The river on the property is so peaceful and the house is very well-kept! Already planning my next stay. Truly a hidden gem.

Absolutely perfect!

We have family in the area and wanted to stay closeby. This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at, even better than the pictures show! Our kids are obsessed with fishing and LOVED the decor and reading about the history. Books everywhere! Super clean, communication was A. We owned a rental home in the past and it didn't even come close to this. The owners provided treats for the kids. The beds are super comfy. The outside area is absolutely amazing, we enjoyed listening to the river and sitting outside at night. The washer and dryer was very helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the fireplace as it was a short trip, but we just hope this wonderful home is available when we make the trip again!!!

Beautiful home and surroundings especially the deck overlooking the river. Carport was a plus. It kept us dry while packing up while it was raining. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available. The homeowner called to give my husband fishing location tips. We thought that wS above and beyond nice. We highly recommended this property

Fly fishing weekend

From the start, communication was top notch! The house was fantastic and exactly has advertised. Enjoyed fishing in the "back yard" on Friday, we had a blast catching Rainbows and Browns! Love the proximity to Elizabethton, which is where we met our fly fishing guide! Great day floating on the Watauga!!Will be back...thanks for a great weekend!!

Absolutely speechless

This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that is EXACTLY as advertised! The view was the winning feature for us. We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation- and that's what we got! The beds were so comfy and every amenity was provided. The hosts went above and beyond in answering all of our questions. We stayed here sonce our daughter is thinking about attending ETSU this fall. It is a relatively short drive to the campus. Everything was great! The river's sound was relaxing and contant. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We will visit again!

Wonderful Home

The house felt like home upon arrival. We weren’t too far from town but away from traffic! The sight and sound of the river running through the backyard was relaxing. Homeowner left detailed instructions and information. We will be renting again next time we are in the area.

Relaxing weekend

My husband and i went back to Journeys End for the second time. Hope to be going in the summer or fsll and sit on the deck and listen to the relaxing water. Place was everything we needed.

Beautiful place, super clean and well stocked

Amazing that this property was spared from the flooding from hurricane, house was perfect, very clean, very well stocked, owners very nice and informative when spoke to them.would definitely like to come back when the wet is a little nicer and do some fishing. Thank you to the Forsythes for a beautiful place to stay.

Cozy Hidden Gem

We are repeat offenders and plan on keeping that status. Never disappoints, in fact it just gets better with every visit. This sweet home sits right on the Doe River. Very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but feels a world away. First steps in the door and you’ll feel you are right at home in this cozy, clean home. Well appointed kitchen. Clean bathrooms with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Super comfy beds and linens Wonderful cowboy grill right beside the waters edge. Very clean gas grill.Comfortable deck furniture overlooking the river. Richard and Diane are the best host. They go above and beyond to assure you have a wonderful visit. Needless to say, we highly recommend Journeys End!!

Missing Journeys End the Moment I Left

The owners put so much Love into making this vacation rental feel like Home Away from Home. The inside was as beautiful and Cozy as the outside! Stunning views of the Mountains and the sound of the River was so peaceful and relaxing. Fishing was fun and watching the Birds were an extra treat! Located near Great Restaurants and Shopping. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and stay warm during a weekend getaway with a beautiful Snow fall. Can’t wait to visit in the summer to do some tubing and kayaking right off the back porch!! Thanks so much!! The locals were as friendly as they come!!

Relaxation at its finest!

A great place to return to after a busy day out. I was looking for a place to relax and this home was PERFECT! Listening to the water out the back was a wonderful addition to my morning coffee on the deck. Richard and Diane are wonderful hosts and were available my entire time for anything I needed and were more than helpful with my needs. A wonderful stay and highly recommend!

I never slept so good

This place is magical and so so relaxing we never wanted to leave. Each night I was so relaxed listening to the river and hiking through the day that I slept a solid 9 hours each night. Something my mind and body desperately needed. The house is so clean and stocked with everything you need. The outside is everything here. A beautiful river overlooking a mountain. A fire pit and deck with covered awning to wake up and sip coffee. If you're looking for peace, tranquility and a place to gather your thoughts this is the place for you!

We found this wonderful property in 2017 and. spent 6 months renovating it for this opportunity to share its beauty. Come sit by the river and relax. Bring your fly rod !

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Doe River in Tennessee is one of the cleanest rivers in the United States. Trout is stocked regularly, both rainbow and brown trout. Doe River is also great bass fishing.
The property is close to Watagua Lake, Laurel Falls and numerous other hiking destinations. Antique shopping close by as well as Bristol Speedway

The best part of this home is the river in your back yard. Over 400 ft of river right out your back door. We are located near downtown Elizabethton with restaurants and shopping while very close to nature and very private.
