Absolutely beautiful cabin on the Watauga River. Our mountain themed cabin is minutes from Johnson City and around 20 minutes from the Bristol Motor Speedway and Casino. This cabin has a loft ideal for kids, a kitchen, a gorgeous front porch, a smart tv, and WIFI. You can enjoy fishing and hiking among other activities in the area.
Beautiful river views, but also conveniently located to stores, restaurants and parks. We had issues with AC not working, but owner was quick to respond to the issue and allowed us to use the neighboring cabin. Would stay again.
Cute cabin. One of four in a row right on the river. Only drawback was the lack of a kitchen table. Maybe could use some larger mugs for coffee. The river was nice in the morning and would get really high at night when the dam was generating. There was a campground directly across the river. So, a peaceful setting.
We enjoyed our weekend very much. Listening to the babbling river and watching the ducks and geese were relaxing. Itâs Bristol Baby! 15 miles from the track. Perfect location. Plan on coming back. We enjoyed our weekend very much!
Great place to stay near Bristol Tennessee. Lots of good food options and attractions nearby so you will have a hard time running out of things to do around there. Awesome stay. Will definitely look for these cabins again next year.
This cabin is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. Location is close to grocery store, dam and lake for boating and fishing. Not to mention, trout fishing right outside your door!
We will stay here again.
Absolutely wonderful!! Cabin is right on the river! Fully stocked with essentials and the host is super responsive! Conviently located within 1/2 a mile of stores and food. 10/10 highly recommend!!
Amazing beautiful place to stay, you have everything you need and stores close by in case you donât. Owner was amazing, view was amazing, everything was amazing, only negative thing I will say is the place was so awesome it made me sad when I had to leave.
We had a good time the place was nice on the Watauga River. Would have liked some extra supplies like dish detergent and toilet paper. But it was a good trip Very relaxing and caught some trout too.
A new cabin with nice modern appliances. It is located in a depressed neighborhood, but the location is very convenient for us. There is not a closet to hange clothes, but one can use hooks on the inside of the bathroom door. Would stay there again.
This place was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. The host was very nice and met us there to check-in and show us the property. We will absolutely be coming back here for our future trips to Tennessee. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Google maps has not quite got the location down right so if you try to find it on google maps, don't let those images fool you. The ones on this site are 100% accurate.
It appears these properties are new to the area. They're building up to 20 units, and I am very excited about it when they are complete. The VRBO website didn't have any check in or out instructions. There was no instructions to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. But location is excellent and hopefully in the future it will be even better. Will definitely be checking back in the future.
We found the cabin to be brand new, with everything from towels to soaps to coffee thoughtfully placed and designed. The cabin was simple to make us feel we were returning to the "simple happy life," but actually equipped with modern conveniences from AC to an electric fireplace to cable. Our family really used this as an opportunity for bonding time. Kids favorite part was the cool loft (of course) where they read books. Adults favorite part was the porch. We honestly planned to do more hiking elsewhere but found ourselves opting for staring at the river, watching birds and walking out during low tide. Seriously, this is the perfect place to eat breakfast at gazing at the clear Watauga River. The stay was so peaceful and comfortable that we stayed an extra day. (Do make sure you have the Wilbur Dam time schedule: most likely 3-9pm is not safe for kids and even adults unless on a boat with life jackets. Just as a heads up, the entrance to this property has industrial buildings, but once you drive back you are resting straight on the river and it was incredibly peaceful. Kids loved it all! The host was super considerate, and even met us at the front to make sure we found our way in ok and checked in with us to see if we needed towels or anything else.
Such a GREAT little cabin on the water! Just wish it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the deck and the outside. If you are looking for a nice little getaway, convenient to lot's of outdoor activities, this is the place to stay. Very quiet and relaxing! The only negative, wish there was more lighting in the living room, ie a lamp. Other than that, it was perfect!
We stayed at this cabin to see fall foliage in the mountains. It was a nice setting right on the water but was located behind industrial buildings and looked across from a couple travel trailers. It was stocked with the very basic needs in the kitchen and bathroom. I would suggest putting a coat rack up to hang clothes/coats. Upon arrival the tv didnât work but it was replaced the next day. Twice while we were there the water was shut off by workers at the industrial buildings, but a call to property manager and it was turned back on quickly. Overall, it was a nice visit.
This was my husband and mineâs first trip in 15 years without the kids. The cabin was a wonderful place to spend some time reconnecting and rediscovering. The serenity of the property and river was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with all the necessities. We have found a jewel and plan to return anytime we need some alone time!
