Great cabin. All good rooms, bathrooms, and beds. Kitchen stocked well. No kuerig. Things to take note: We arrived in the evening late and due to that hard to see the black barn and drive so we passed it up at first. Had to circle back. No air conditioning however there are fans and a room air conditioner in one bedroom upstairs. Lucky for us it was fairly cool and the fans were sufficient. Thus if visiting in the summer take notice. Great location to all the surrounding area of Belle aire and elk rapids etc. We enjoyed our stay and working with the owner. We would stay again. I could see this a great winter stay.
The house was perfect for an adult weekend getaway with side by sides and relaxing. The hosts were great and everything was more than adequate for our needs. We are already planning a trip back next year.
Beautiful house, perfect for VRBO. I didn't read carefully, there's no AC. 3 of the 4 nights were comfortable. Contact with Janet made our trip right. I'd definitely stay again in the winter, spring or fall. The setting is gorgeous!
The state of Michigan closed all the ORV trails. The only reason we were staying in this house the host lied to verbo about the natural disaster and kept our money for the stay
Highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again! The house was very nice and clean, easy to find, great location and close to snowmobile trails. Had lots of snow while we were there, but the guy that plows for the owner showed up and plowed the drive for us. Host was very responsive, only took a few minutes to receive any feedback if we had questions. Overall a great place to stay!
Excellent location and very nice home! It was perfect for our group that wanted to ride the trails and be able to walk to Hideaway after the day was done. The place was well appointed and clean. The only hiccup was a furnace issue, but the host quickly got someone out to fix it so it mimimized the inconvenience. I plan to return to this place at some point!
Home was very nice and updated. The outdoor area was better than the pictures with a lovely view of nature and plenty of seating. We chose this home as it was close to our daughterâs wedding venue (A Yak or 2 Ranch) so we actually were just here to sleep but Iâd definitely come back for a relaxing get away or a snowmobile trip since itâs close to the trails.
This property looks brand new and is sparklingly clean. We appreciated the peaceful location and space for all of us. The convenience to the store across the street and bar nearby was also used and appreciated. Very nice space!
We enjoyed our stay here very much! We were there to ride our side x sides and the trails are very close as is the gas station and the Hide Away Bar for after riding dinner and drinks. Would definitely come back!
We wanted to visit family in the TC and Charlevoix and this was the perfect spot in-between for us to meet. The home was beautiful and immaculate! Just as seen in the pictures. We enjoyed cookouts and time on the patio as the weather was beautiful. There is a nice public beach/boat launch just a short walk away on Starvation Lake if you like to swim. Janet, the host, was quick to answer any questions and no issues to the check in or out process. We highly recommend this to anyone!
Itâs a house you would want to own and stay at everyday! Convenient to the trails, gas, and a restaurant. Nice pond on the property that we got to watch wildlife at each night after the ride. During our time we watched new fawns jumping around in the pond like Bambi. Great outside welcoming envirornment, well laid out. Would definitely stay again. We were there for side by side riding.
Our group of 6 adults had plenty of room. The bedrooms were spacious,, great areas to relax both inside and outside, plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. The house was well-equipped with essentials for our stay. Very clean and up-to-date property, well maintained! The beds were large and very comfortable. Location is perfect with a gas station across the street and a bar with amazing food just down the road, very convenient ORV trails close by. Loved that the sound system also had outdoor speakers! Overall, this property made our trip so comfortable and enjoyable, we will definitely be back!
We had a great time at this cabin and it was conveniently located right next to the orv trails. Gas station was right across the road and the bar right down the road has excellent food. Would definitely stay here again.
We love our northern Michigan property. It is truly an all season place. We have enjoyed many summers on the area lakes as well as torch lake, such an easy drive. Orv in the spring and fall, snowmobiling in the winter. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
