Spacious Cottage on Starvation Lake Front that sleeps 14! 4 bedrooms, 2 Bath, 1 huge loft with double bed and bonus Game Room.
Ride right out the driveway to the trails! Rates also include the use of kayaks (with equipment rental agreement signed and dated). Separate game room with pool table! Pontoon boat rental available for fee of 700 per week and larger pontoon for 1000 per week. Contact owner for details.

Fully furnished Lakefront cottage with boat dock for your water toys! Walk right out to beach, no long stairways to climb up/down.

Right across the street from Blue Bear ORV trails bring your SLEDS, ATVs etc. Plenty of parking and room for all your toys.

The Starvation Lake Country Store has many conveniences including GAS, fishing licenses, ORV licenses, live bait and everything you forgot at home. The Hideaway Bar & Grill and Starvation Lake Country Store are within walking distance.

New Years get away

We had a great weekend with our family and friends. The game room was great for those that stayed up later after the kids went to bed and the kitchen had plenty of room for us to cook and feed our 3 families during our stay. There were lots of bed options to accommodate the adults and kids as well. The location is great for snowmobiling, however the weather did not cooperate this time. Would definitely look at booking this location again.

Precept location for trail riding

Cabin is perfect for large groups with easy access to trails, gas and a party store. Rita is a great host. Very responsive. This is our fourth time staying and we will be back!

We all loved the beach front property, access to quad trails, kayaks, paddle boats and serenity of up north Michigan. Would love to come again.

Perfect location for large groups with an amazing view of the lake. Close to trail head and store with gas. Perfect for a weekend of riding trials.

Amazing place!

A vacation that we look forward to every year with our family! Perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake up north! Very peaceful setting and great location overlooking the beautiful, clean lake. The cottage has a ton of room and has all the amenities you need to vacation comfortably for a week. We love this place.

Great place!

We stay here because it’s great for snowmobiling. Close to trails. House is clean and has plenty of room with all the basic amenities you need. We have stayed here before and will be back again!

We had an amazing week with family! Clean and comfortable! Rita is an amazing host, she had this home fully stocked with supplies! My grandchildren loved the beach, and we loved how easy it was to supervise them due to the close access! Eagles and Loons galore! <3

Great place to stay!

We have stayed at this home before and love the convenience of getting to the snowmobile trails! While the Michigan weather was not in our favor this year we stilled had a great time with friends. The house is well maintained and has all of the amenities you need. Plenty of room and the bonus game room is great for the kids to hang out.

Great location

Great place in a great location. We rode trails on side by sides. Plenty of rooms. Right by Hideaway bar. Too cold for the water but the beach was sandy.

Great place on the lake!

The location is spot on! Right off the lake with a great sandy beach for the kids to play. Renting the pontoon for a day was always great to get out on the lake. The house was kept up nice and the extra play room with the pool table was fun. The beds are old and weren't the best to sleep on but overall we had a great time!

It is so quiet and peaceful there. The home was very clean and everything you needed for your stay was available except for your food. The bathrooms were a little small if you're an XL or larger person but it worked out okay. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had and provided anything we needed. The country store just down the street is stocked with about all you need and the bar and grill next door has great food and wonderful staff.

Weather/view perfect

Fishing was outstanding. Lake clean and we do like the rules! The stairs are a challenge only because all of us are 47-80 years old . But the view is worth the climb. We would rent again.

Relaxing g Few Days

Enjoyed our stay. House right on the lake with pretty sunsets and wonderful fall colors. Working with Rita couldn't have been easier. She was fantastic to deal with and responsive to any questions we had. The house had more than enough room with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and a loft that slept even more. Worked out as a nice location to serve as home base to take in the beauty of Northern Michigan.

Great house, great lake, relaxing time!

We rented this home for our family and it was perfect. Easy to find, tons of parking, pretty nice beach, and a nice lake. Enough rooms and beds for a rotation of family coming and going throughout the week. The extra game room was great space for a game of pool, reading, chatting, or puzzles! Two BQQs, a gas and a charcoal grill was a nice surprise. Beach was nice and water was shallow enough for our littles to play with their life jackets on. The lake wasn't too busy and we liked the quiet/no wake hours. Gave one of our family members a chance to swim across the lake easily. We rented the pontoon also and it was perfect! Clean and big! Rita was wonderful to work with and easy to get a hold of. Very glad we rented this home! Can't wait for next year!

Great spot on Quiet Lake

I really enjoyed the stay here. Everything was great and Rita was a great communicator. Close to the beach and a nice peaceful lake! My only complaint was that the property was listed as air conditioned. This is a major factor for my elderly dad as he cannot go on the sand or in the water with his cane. As a result the air conditioning is a must. Luckily we had cooler summer days and some rain so the fans worked well. I would say to make the listing more true, it isn't fully air conditioned from one bedroom upstairs being the only room. One of two things would make sense to me: 1) update the listing to be no air conditioning and the bedroom upstairs will be a bonus discovery. 2) invest in 1 to 3 window units downstairs. Maybe just rhe bedrooms? Other than that, we loved our stay!

Perfect fall trip to relax

The whole group enjoyed the water! The cool weather didn't stop our kiddos from jumping & splashing in the clean and clear lake with a nice sandy bottom. Our pup enjoyed searching for frogs along the shore. Our husbands fished all day in the lake and explored one of the many surrounding lakes in the area, as us ladies sipped wine in the adirondack chairs outside soaking up the last of the summer sun, visiting and listening to the waves. So relaxing. The house had plenty of space to spread out. Between the long kitchen table and the TV trays, plenty of room for big meals all together. Beds were plenty and very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, dishes and core spices needed for cooking. Wifi worked well, but no signal for phone calls or texts - but for me, that was just fine as I wanted to escape the busyness of life. No A/C, but lots of windows and fans for circulation. Some screens need repairs or were missing, but that's an easy fix the brand new owners could take care of easily. They literally just bought the place before we rented and didn't have time to make tweaks. We would definitely rent this place again. Clean. Spacious. Great lake for the family. And Rita was great to work with :)

Always a great experience

We’ve stayed at this property a few different times, and have always had a great experience. Rita is quick to respond to any questions. It’s a great place if you have a large family or dogs staying with you. Plenty of room. Very cozy, comfortable, and clean.
