This is a newly remodeled home with all new decor, fully equipped kitchen, large deck, grill and fire pit, large private yard, TV in the master bedroom, workspace and WiFi. Great location and less than 2 miles from downtown Athens, both major hospitals, UGA and many great restaurants. Perfect for a weekend getaway to enjoy family/friends, explore UGA or attend music and sporting events.

Amazing Place to Stay!

The house and property is top notch! Highly recommend. Additionally, the owner was very quick and responsive to questions. He gave lots of suggestions for local things and sought to make everything work with so much ease.

Great place and host!

This house was perfect for our stay in Athens. Its proximity to UGA is exactly what we needed as we came for the ASCE Southeast Symposium. Our host Bart recommended places to eat and was quick to respond when we had a question! Highly recommend this house should your travels bring you Athens.

Excellent place to stay!

We came into Athens for a night to visit a group of friends that were in town for the marathon, and Bart’s property was absolutely perfect for us. There were 3 couples, 6 adults total, and we all appreciated comfortably having our own rooms with queen or king sized beds. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, as well as a great central location off of Broad. Bart was also very kind, responsive, and helpful. Will definitely keep this property in mind for our future visits as well!

Wedding Weekend

Lovely home and perfect location to our dear friend’s family wedding in downtown Athens . The owner, Bart, was awesome. We had inclement weather and he kept us up to date with safety and local reports. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Peaceful

Barts place is down a road that is very quiet but still close to the actuon. Grocery stores are close and restaurànts. Great place to unwind after a game.

Lovely, Comfortable Home!

Beautifully renovated home made for a comfortable stay while in town for a family gathering. Host was very communicative and made sure we knew how to access the home upon arrival and gave us a great breakfast restaurant recommendation that we enjoyed. The home is located in a quiet location which made for a peaceful night’s rest. Highly recommend and we will look to stay there again next time we are visiting family.

Perfect place for our stay

The layout of the home, amenities, cleanliness and comfort were perfect for our stay. You can tell that great effort has gone into remodeling it. Great communication from Bart leading up to, during, and after the stay. Highly recommend and would certainly rent again.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, tidy, very quit and off the main path yet10 minutes from downtown Athens. Excellent ideas for dinner and breakfast were recommended. Would use it again.

Great location for UGA events. Quiet neighborhood. The house is absolutely beautiful and very nice. Well stocked with all the necessary items to make your stay comfortable. I will definitely book again.

Ease of changes

The property owner here is the most responsive and understanding owner we have ever dealt with. My husband got sick at the last minute and we had stayed here before so the owner made an exception to the rule and allowed us to exchange dates!! We love this place!

What more can I say? Best VRBO host ever!!

Bart was the best host I have ever dealt with in many years of VRBO stays. He is kind, responsive, and generous! We recently stayed in Athens for the SEC swim and dive championships. When our schedule changed, he was flexible with our plans. He went above and beyond any expectation I would have had for my situation. We were welcomed with a basket of snacks, coffee pods, and a few other amenities. There were toiletries (as well as a hair dryer!) which is rare to have at a VRBO. Ample towels too. The house is pin perfect, with a great layout and decor. Comfy furniture (again, more seating options than typical) and it's a quiet, happy property with a large front and backyard and pleasant territorial views out all the windows. Oh, the bed was amazing too, I meant to ask where the mattress came from. We might buy one! Very close to great retail options and a short, 10-minute drive into downtown/UGA campus. Easy access to everything. You won't be disappointed if you rent this property. It felt like home. Thanks Bart!

Great location and close to many restaurants, UGA, shopping, free Athens bus line during football season. Everything is new and the home is fully stocked. Downtown Athens is 2.7 miles and the two major hospitals are less than 1 mile.
