You'll have the entire Lower Level to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

On the Shores of Algonquin w/ Private Dock - Lower Unit
Large 1 Acre Lot with 150 foot of lake frontage. Spacious 2 bedrooms, Kitchen and Dining area with Lake view from all. Large Family room. Large Covered Patio with Outdoor Funiture, Grill, Fire Pit, Private Dock with Row Boat and Paddle Boat, Kayak, Floaties, Cornhole, board games and a hammock. Free Wi-Fi, 300 channels and streaming apps. Very quiet location with plentiful wildlife and all the sounds of nature. Great fishing from the lakeshore or take the kayak or rowboat out. Beautiful sunsets.

Downtown Hastings is only 5 minutes away with the charm of a small town and all the amenity's to provide your entertainment and comfort. Hiking, Bike trails and Disc Golf nearby. Local Attractions: The Gilmore Car Museum (20 mins away), Moo-Ville Creamery (25 mins), Glass Creek Winery (15 mins), Gun Lake and Firekeeper Casinos, Frederick Meijer Gardens (35 min), Grand Rapids Museum (40 min) restaurants, shopping and more!

Parking is in the covered car port next to the garage with additional parking in drive leading into the car port and next to the drive leading into the car port if necessary. We have a Secuity Camera mounted front of house and by garage door viewing the driveway for added security of your vehicle.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful, peaceful and serene. It had all the amenities of home and the owners were responsive and helpful too. We would definitely stay here again!

The owners were really nice, the location was close to everything you would need, it was close to multiple beaches, and the property was amazing! It's located right on a quiet lake that you can float on, boat on, and even paddle around. This property is definitely a gem if you're looking for a laid back lake vacation.

This was perfect for a weekend getaway. The lake was gorgeous. The space was exactly as pictured and described. Cozy vibes for sure! Appreciated the hosts having shower amenities like shampoo, body wash, and hair spray as I forgot some of mine! Host Gary suggested the hammock for maximum relaxation and boy was he right. The lake was quiet and the sounds of nature were just what we needed. 10/10 we would visit here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The property was super clean, beds were comfortable and the lakefront property is outstanding! We had a great time hiking and birding in the area, and spending lazy afternoons by the lake. We loved the patio and even took the rowboat for a spin. Gary and Kristin are hospitable hosts - we will stay again if our travels bring us back to the area.

This was the perfect get away location for us. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Home was very clean, plenty of towels and kitchen needs. The views are so peaceful and it was fun to hang out at the lakefront during the day. The paddle boat was a bonus, as were games to play on a rainy day. We will definitely return.

Upon arrival, the parking area for guests was clearly described and the directions to gain access to the unit was clear and easy to do. Every room was spotless with plenty of closet and dresser space. I loved that there was a double sink in the bathroom. There was an iron and ironing board available, which was great because I needed one! The view is amazing, my family and I had our breakfast and morning coffee out by the water on Saturday morning and it was bliss. There’s not much of a beach compared to the surrounding houses but that’s a good thing, less sand to deal with. My daughter went wading in the shallow water by the beach and found shells galore. My husband and I each took her out on the paddle boat, it was a fantastic experience and stay. Gary was easy to reach and check out instructions were easy to do. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, this is the place!

Mothers Day visit

We needed a place to stay to visit family in the area and this was perfect. The space was nice and clean, the host communicated well and even though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the lake, we loved the view.

Home away from home

We love this location. It's peaceful & quiet....the perfect getaway on the lake. Great for fishing. The living area is very accommodating and the beds are super comfortable. The host is very generous and is quick to answer. We will be back!

Relaxing Lakefront Stay

We had a great time! Our hosts were friendly, kind, and attentive. They were very prompt and responsive to our questions. The property has a great outdoor space for playing any game as well as relaxing to enjoy the view of the lake. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Thanks again!

Very clean and nice place for our 3 person family! We enjoyed fishing off the pier and caught lots of fish and used the paddle and row boat! Gary was very nice and helped us empty the water in the water in the boats from the thunderstorm the night before AND he even went out and bought us bait for fishing (which was not expected at all). An additional plus, they provided firewood (and fire starters) for us to have a fire one evening. Thank you for a fun filled family weekend get-away!

Loved the location and the activities.

I had 3 teenagers and myself. We all loved everything. We only left once for groceries. The lake, row boat, paddle boat, kayak, corn hole and hammock was the kids favorites. So glad I brought fishing rods too. The kids loved fishing even with just hotdogs and a hook they caught lots of fish. Very clean and the host Gary and his wife were wonderful.

Family getaway

Overall a really nice house. Convenient location, nice size beds, clean & tidy, good refrigeration & air, with a comfortable couch. However, no apps on the tv worked, noisy maintenance on neighbors home early morning, had live TV but basic channels, lake is not meant for swimming(was our main reason for lakeshore choice home-lots of fish). Very beautiful outside! Loved the porch swing, extremely peaceful. Scenery was breathtaking during the stay which is all worth it.

Chelsea thank you so much for you kind and approving review! I’m so sorry for your troubles with the TV, I have replaced the TV with a brand new Samsung TV so our future guests can enjoy all the apps and our 200 Chanel cable package. Also I do want to apologize for our neighbor scheduling home improvements during your stay. Also based on your review I have hired a landscaper that has added a sandy beach area for better access to the lake. I will be sending you a partial refund for your stay for these inconveniences.
