Cozy Winter Getaway or the perfect Lakeside Vacation with all the features of a home. Fully stocked kitchen, dining room with farmhouse table, living room with couch and loveseat and streaming capable TV. 3 bedrooms and a full bath. Walkout basement with large rec room, full bath, and bunkhouse bedroom. Laundry available. Homes has wi-fi and central air.
Lake front is a sandy beach. Included multiple kayaks, aluminum fishing boat, and a paddle boat. Shaded outdoor patio with charcoal grill.
Just minutes from Hastings MI. Many popular locally owned eateries, and pubs. In the summer there are weekly free outdoor concerts, farmers markets. River canoeing is available on the Thornapple River.

Our daughter was married this last Saturday at wild wood farms. The cottage was charming and clean!! We love the lake and the beach toys/ watercraft. Would rent this house again!!

Wedding trip

We traveled back to my hometown from North Carolina for a family wedding. The cottage has great views and plenty of room if you need it.

The hosts pay attention to the details

We had three generations in the lake house, and you can tell the hosts care a lot and pay attention to the details. They had life jackets in a variety of sizes all the way down to one for a small toddler, various boats, a big sleeping area if you had more kids or people with you (we were only 5 people and mostly stayed on the first floor only). I'd venture to say it's nicer than the photos make it look, too.

Perfect Lake Retreat

Spent the weekend here mostly to serve as a landing spot for out of state family coming to town for my son’s college graduation. Hastings may seem remote but it has a local Walmart and plenty of places to eat. Shawn was a great host, helpful with directions and responses when needed. The house was exactly as described, perfectly clean and comfortably furnished. Especially loved the family photos and lake decor, including small glass bottles of sand and shells from I’m assuming their family adventures. Made for a cozy home-like ambuance. I’m sure it’s a fabulous place to vacation in peak season. As it was early May and still chilly, the outdoor ‘toys’ were still in storage. Highly recommend!!!!!

Middle Lake House

House exceeded our expectations. We visit Hastings every Thanksgiving to spend the holiday with family that live in Hastings and this was one of our best trips. We were able to have family over a couple meals and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. We would definitely stay at the home in the future.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful vacation spot on the water. We had a little trouble finding the correct driveway, but are glad we did! Freshly renovated, clean, and reasonably priced for our women's weekend. The owner's pride in the property shows and we enjoyed reading about the reno in the binder. A great mix of the old and new. We'll be back!

What a great place!

I am part of a group of amazing women that met in a bereavement group 25 yrs ago. This year we stayed at this beautiful home for our annual get away. It was wonderful to have a clean comfortable beautiful space to recomnect! We will be back next year for sure!

Serenity at swan lake

We had a wonderful time and loved waking up to the lake views and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Enjoyed watching the swans very much. Recommend highly!

Relaxing Stay at the Lake

This house was exactly what we needed. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and the house was spacious enough for our group of 5 adults and 3 small children. The sandy beach and shallow lake area was just right for the littlest ones in our family group. The spacious yard was great for lawn games and we enjoyed fires at night by the fire pit. Check in was seamless and Shawn had prompt replies to our questions.

Family Vacation Fun

We really enjoyed this property. It was exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked and the coffee bar is a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. It is nicely located so there were plenty of options for excursions. Would absolutely return!

Family time

Stayed at this amazing home for a long weekend for son’s wedding. Everything we needed was provided and we had such a blast fishing, paddle boating and just relaxing by the lake spending time together .Enjoyed a relaxing fire at night to wind down the day. Perfect spot for 2 1/2 yr old grandson to run around and enjoy the beautiful weather. Definitely will stay here again!

Guys DiscGolf Trip

Perfect spot for our group of 5, we even had 2 more beds in the bunk room open. Big huge dining table for everyone to sit down and eat. house was perfect. Very scenic view looking out at the lake while having morning coffee. Little cold this time of year to take advantage of the lake, but also the price was very fair considering its off season. Exactly what we needed for our trip!

September weekend

The home worked great for our family, and our son-in-law and oldest son enjoyed kayaking on the lake too. If we get back to this area again, we would definitely reserve to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!

Cute place.

The owners did a nice job of renovating the house and putting a bunk room into the basement. Our 2 children shared the bunk room and left the whole upstairs to us; it was great that there was a full bathroom downstairs, also.
