The interior of the home was clean. Unfortunately, there were mice around the sliding glass door to the back porch, as well as on the patio furniture. After seeing the mice, I checked out the next morning and had to go to a hotel. I contacted the owner and requested a refund. She responded promptly and let me know that she would not provide a refund, and that I would need to submit a request to VRBO to conduct a full investigation of my complaint. I would not recommend staying at this property until the rodent issue is addressed.

Réponse de VrboOwner le 30 août 2026

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you found the interior of the home clean, but I’m sorry that seeing mice outside negatively impacted your stay. I do want to clarify a few details for future guests. When I checked in with you during your stay, no concerns were communicated. I first learned of the issue after you had checked out and requested a refund. Your initial message stated that you could hear mice and it disrupted your sleep. When I asked for additional information or photos/video so I could investigate, you clarified that you had seen two mice outside during the day on the patio. We live in the Arizona desert, where occasional wildlife can appear outdoors. However, I take pest prevention very seriously. My properties receive professional pest service and inspections, and I offered to provide the most recent report from 2 weeks priors showing no rodent infestation. Instead of communicating further, you asked me not to contact you again. I then spoke with two VRBO representatives and was advised that because the concern was not reported during the stay, allowing either myself or VRBO an opportunity to investigate or address it, and there were no photos or additional information provided, a refund was not warranted from myself, nor VRBO. I’ve hosted for nearly 10 years, am a Premier Host, and have more than 500 positive reviews across my five properties. I remain committed to providing clean, comfortable, well-maintained homes and a five-star guest experience.

Great vacation spot!

Three senior ladies coming to Tuscon from Sun City to the Gem and Mineral Show. It was a bit of a drive but we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. The house was perfect, bedrooms all on one floor. We had a great time and hope to stay here the next time we come.

Quiet and cozy

Perfect little spot for our visit. Sunrise views from the back patio were beautiful. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Management was quick to respond when needed. Definitely will look to this property when heading for a visit again.
