We stayed three weeks; it was perfect for the two of us with the location close to restaurants, a grocery store and shopping. It was very comfortable and the hosts were very accommodating. We would stay at this place again. BJ
The little apartment was very clean with nice linens and towels. We appreciated having access to the washer/dryer. The hiking and sites we wanted to visited were within a short drive. The only slight negative was being able to hear voices on the other side of the door that separates the apartment from the main part of the house.
Comfortable, quaint and nicely decorated. Clever use of space. Hosts were very nice and helpful. It was part of their house with separate enterance and space. The only downside was that you had some noise due to close proximity and the kitchen was not a separate space from the second sleeping area . I would stay there again if in the area
Everything was in tip top condition, and the owners were very welcoming. Weâve stayed here before and weâre happy it was available for us this week.
My hiking friend and I loved the accomodation offered by Liana and Jim in their home in Oro Valley. Everything we needed and more was readily available, the accomodation was clean and attractive and has two separate bedrooms with comfortable beds. Oro Valley is a perfect location to enjoy the surrounding mountains and the property affords easy access to the Tucson loop.
True to the description, this is a shared home. Hosts are very nice and hospitable. Separate areas worked well for our brief visit and the outdoor area and fire pit are wonderful.
This is the perfect place to stay in Oro Valley with easy access to main thoroughfares to anywhere in the Tucson area. The thoughtful layout works well with the bath between the bedrooms, a zen like patio with beautiful landscaping, and everything you need when away from home.Hooks for jackets, quality hangers for clothes, bathroom fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, really no need to bring any of the basics. Also, lots of lighting options so you can have it as bright as you want or keep it to accent lights. The natural daylight streams in through windows in each room, including the bathroom (with a window that opens and a fan), while easy to block out light while sleeping with tightly fitting shades.Welcoming hosts with just the right amount of communication to make sure your stay is going well.Highly recommend this beautiful, green oasis.
It was very clean. The hosts were helpful. It had everything you should need.
They had so much for our use there was little room for our clothes.
It was a little noisy with the fridge and furnace nearby but we made it work.
Our host was wonderful!. They live in the main part of the house. The VRBO portion has a private entrance and is separate. It has 2 BR, 1 BA, with laundry. Small cooking area with alll gear needed to cook and eat. It included a microwave, toaster, Keurig, and bottled water jug. There are many places to sit outside and enjoy morning coffee. The location near Oro Valley was perfect for us. We really had a great stay and will likely be back when we visit again. It certainly is not the biggest space. But it is laid out smartly and has everything you need for a great stay. From Shampoo and body wash to a spice rack above the stove. IWE HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!
We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In town for the Superbowl and not knowing that we'd be an hour out from the festivities, we chose this spot. The property was clean and nicely decorated. There was a shared laundry room that was so well stocked. Clean towels, soft mattresses, nice bathroom. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and I had no complaints. The outdoors area was beautiful and had a great view of the mountains. out back there are fruit trees all around. Despite all that, the highlight was the hosts. So friendly and helpful. They even shared their Superbowl snacks with us and that was great too. Would definitely stay again. 10s across the board.
This was the perfect location in Oro Valley, with great amenities. Private side yard, with table/bench, grilling, firepit. These awesome hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Thank you! We will be repeat patrons :)
I was traveling with my girlfriend for a short girls trip in the Tucson area and this place was perfect! Two bedroom, one bath, laundry access, and everything you need to feel at home. Clean, adorable, comfortable, and practical.
The hosts were incredibly nice, quiet, and responsive. They truly thought of everything and we both really appreciated all the thought that went in to the space. I'm definitely saving this place in my phone for the next time. : )
Beautiful gardens! Lots of birds and blooms and sunrise views! Every detail thought of with high-end linens & towels offered. My daughters and I had a delightful stay and this place is my go-to place from now on when I visit my elderly parents.
Jeff says; "Comfortable place to stay. I enjoyed talking to the hosts, Jim and Liana, and getting to know them. Access to the amazing bike trail system was easy. I was able to bike 35 miles in two days and didn't have to transport my bike by car. Thank you for the wine, conversation and fresh laid chicken eggs".
Margie says; "Linda and Jim, the living space was set up so well and you âcoveredâ everything that we could want or need. I enjoyed the beautiful garden as I soaked up the southern sunshine. Thank you for providing comfort and outdoor beauty for our little getaway".
Hosts were very helpful and fun. Cozy, quiet retreat in a great location. Community center and shopping/restaurants within the neighborhood. Easy access to day trips to Tucson highlights, hiking, art galleries, farmer's markets. We enjoyed visiting the San Xavier Mission and AZ Sonoran Desert Museum. Live jazz music with good food and Prickly Pear Margaritas was a nice end to an adventurous day.
Lovely decor, terrific towels and bedding linens, plentiful kitchen supplies and toiletries were provided. Countertop or work surface was limited but we still enjoyed some food prep. Unseasonably cool windy weather and some rain limited our use of the outdoor spaces on the property, but didnât damper our enjoyment.
Liana and Jim have thought about so many details as they remodeled and designed their rooms for their VRBO, from patio to to kitchenette to linens. Convenient location for wonderful Tucson bikepaths!
Super clean and homey feeling. The outdoor space they have created is so nice and they are super nice people. Super easy to work with and if ever in the area would stay there again.
