The heart of the desert with amazing views and hiking trails right outside!
The perfect house for a big group or a solo trip with excellent views. It is centrally located to offer easy access to downtown (17 minutes), hiking trails (right outside), biking trails (7 minutes), Desert Museum (20 minutes), Colossal Cave (44 minutes), Airport (25 minutes), and San Xavier del Bac Mission (23 minutes), to name a few. There are several bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 people.
The house is situated in the hills above Tucson with a great view of the distant city. The location is very quiet, and taking a morning or evening walk is a great way to start or wind down the day. The house has large rooms with plenty of windows and natural light. Getting to see a bright, orange full moon rise over Tucson was a real treat. A wonderful vacation.
This lovely older home has many upgrades but the location is what attracted us. Being just outside of town, but away from crowded neighborhoods and hotels was great. Plenty of room to spread out and everything you could need in the kitchen. The table tennis set up was a nice break from the tourism and made for a great family championship! Communication was excellent and we were allowed early check-in, which, unfortunately was not used due to our flight being 14 hours late. Wish we'd had more time to enjoy the house but had to prioritize the activities we had planned. We loved the screened porch area just off of the main bedroom. Also appreciated the printed house information and restaurant recommendations. Overall, we'd be happy to stay here again!
We had a blast exploring the nearby wash during the day and soaking up the amazing views at night. Ping pong was lots of fun too! My kids are already asking when we can go back.
We loved the scenic views of the mountains in the distance. The property was in a quiet neighborhood just outside the city traffic. It is large enough for families of any size. Itâs rustic setting was perfect.
This house is an absolute gem, tucked away northwest of the heart of the city. The property owner communicated early and often, and was quick to offer any help -- though things were so wonderfully straightforward that we didn't require any. Every need we had was already met, and the very large living area was wonderful for catching up and relaxing after a day on the trail.Because the nature of this area is beautifully remote, the roads to get here are unpaved and maps do not always indicate the best way in. Follow the property owner's advice and ignore your GPS. You will not need 4-wheel-drive or anything special, just take it nice and easy. Trust me, it will be worth the drive. We look forward to staying here again!
The family loved the desert location, awesome views. Plenty of space. Beds are really comfortable in 3 of the 4 rooms. The futon in the 4th is not for everyone though. Good communication with owner and would rent again.
Wow! What an amazing property!!!
Phenomenal views from the back deck.
This home has plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable.
Driving through the âCactus forestâ was also very cool.
I can honestly say Sarah is a fantastic host. She went above & beyond and answered all my questions, even brought in an Air fryer when I asked if house had one. The home is beautiful, clean and very privateâŠ.no neighbors ! We are very pleased and hope to return soon.
