Cute little house perfect for a family to stay in. Had everything we needed and close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again
We spent 8 days there in early April. House and furnishings were basic but clean.Great to have a King Bed. WiFi worked well. Kitchen was well stocked including spices that we could use. The location was quite close to Tarpon Springs making it easy to get to restaurants and beaches. Colored light on the porch made it easy to find at night.
Place was as described and immaculate. Nicely supplied with essentials for a short stay. Water temp could be a little hotter. Must say, neighborhood does not seem to be 'high end' but was quiet and peaceful. Good value as it sleeps 6 comfortably.
This property was perfect for visiting my family in Tarpon/ Holiday! It was a relaxing place to bring my grandmother to hang out with her Great-grandsons! My boys loved the hammocks and the twinkle lights in the bedroom. It's close to fun things like the Tarpon Aquarium (so cute!) and the Replay Museum which was great!Overall the house was clean, updated, and ready to check in and out. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if in the area.
This was a lovely property. We walked into the house to a a very cozy, living room, dining area, kitchen, three bedrooms, one with a king bed one with a queen bed and the third with two single beds. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and great AC. This is in a quiet neighborhood on a family street, very very close to the sponge dogs and the restaurants and shops as well as the Tarpon Springs aquarium and the Tarpon Springs splash pad. It is in a great location for families! And for that matter, everyone. There is a lovely bar. There is a lanai, a little tiki hut, television and almost anything you could leave. I would suggest bringing paper towel and napkins. This property is highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.
The king size bed was hard as a rock, there was only an old crusty sponge to wash dishes with and only 2 wash cloths for 5 people to shower with. It was decent for the price and the fact that we barely used it except to sleep at night.
It was a great trip and stay! We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks out back under the tiki hut. Love the Boho style of the home!
We felt safe and we had everything we needed.
Thank you !
The roads in the subdivision need to be repaved however we realize this is not the responsibility of the host.
Our overall stay was really good and we would stay here again in the future for sure!
My family of 6 was searching for a home to celebrate Christmas in since our home was flooded from hurricane Idalia and still hasnât been repaired. We came across this listing. We were blown away by the decor and cleanliness. The backyard is a complete oasis with a fire pit and a gorgeous tiki hut with hammocks. The home fit us all comfortably and provided comfortable beds to lay our heads ;) We loved this home and would book it again!
My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful month at this fully upated home. We loved the cozy boho decor and felt right at home. The "lanai" has a comfy seating area to enjoy the fresh air and private yard with tropical palms and tiki hut. The owner is so sweet and responds promptly to any issues. For example, the bathtub was bit slippery and she came right over with a non-slip mat. Amazing. The neighborhood is older but quiet and safe. Anything you want or need is located on Route 19 close by.
My husband and I and our 4 year old came to FL to visit family and just needed a home base to sleep, but it exceeded our expectations. Each of the three bedrooms was spacious and cutely decorated with comfortable beds. The boho style made it feel welcoming and relaxing. Everything felt clean/new. Great water pressure in the shower and a tub for my son. Hammock/Tiki area was a really nice touch. The main bedroom also had a great desk setup which I loved since I was working while there. Since the house had everything I really didn't need to reach out to the host, but the one time we did, she responded right away. This house would be perfect for a couple, small family or even 2 couples and kids.
This was a perfect little home for 2 to 4 people tucked in the back of the neighborhood. There was a third bedroom with two extra beds in case you brought the kiddos.
Love the tiki hut with the hammocks in the back, although it was too hot for us to use this trip!
Once the AC cooled the house, it was pretty comfortable, but watch out for the daytime; the home can get pretty warm in the summer. I presume in the winter months, maybe not so much but itâs usually warm in sunny Florida. ;)
Would suggest that you make sure to tuck everything in the fridge or in a very well sealed package off the kitchen counters. Tiny ants were everywhere; they were already crawling in from the rains before we even got settled.
All in all, it was a very comfortable stay, tucked in a quiet neighborhood & was pretty well stocked with supplies and linens.
The house is nicely decorated, and fit our needs. It is close to downtown Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks as well as several good restaurants and shopping. There is only one âFullâ bath, the other is a half bath. The beds were comfortable, although a little low due to the lower ceilings. My Brother in law is 6â5â so showering and getting out of the bed was slightly difficult. My husband did enjoy sitting on the back patio drinking his coffee in the mornings All in all itâs a cute home that with a few tweaks could be great.
You will need to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels and bathroom spray. We left our remaining rolls so the next guests wonât be without when they arrive. The kitchen has a coffee maker, and basic dishes. They have a couple of ice cube trays in the freezer. We picked up a bag of ice at Publix down the road.
I had a wonderful experience and stay. The owner/mgr is very fast and efficient at reaponding. Entey to home was perfect/easy. The home has been fully remodeled and was super clean. I want to mention, the beda ate on the floor, so someone like me, older, with bad knees struggled a bit there. My husband is 6 2, and could have hit his head on the fan in our bedroom. I suppose because the ceilings are a little lower, explains the beds and fans. One more thing, there were only 2 washrags. We reserved for 6 so that was an issue. Typically i pack for that but disnt because properties always have plenty. Again, none of these impacted our stay. Just trying to be informative. The roads are a bit rough in this neighborhood but again, didnt impact our stay and isnt anything an owner has control of. I would highly recommend and would love to stay there again.
