We have new property management and a brand new listing to serve you better; but rest assured the cabin is as cozy and awesome as ever. We invite all of our faithful returning guests back anytime and welcome all our new guests a to experience the joy that is Simple Pleasures Retreat!
The cabin offers three bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom, located in the upstairs loft, features a king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress, a Smart TV, an office area, and lovely views of the wooded backyard. The other two bedrooms are situated on the main floor, one with two twin beds and the other with a full-size bed, both with comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses, blackout curtains, and ample closet space.

Upon entering the cabin, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open living space seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining room, and living room, creating an environment that encourages socializing and quality time together. The living room boasts a wood-burning fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and large glass sliders that open up to the deck.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, as well as basic kitchen necessities. However, please note that the cabin does not have a dishwasher.

The dining room features a small table that can be expanded to accommodate up to six guests. Like the living room, it also has glass sliders that open up to the three seasons room.

Simple Pleasures cabin has a versatile three seasons room that provides panoramic views of the wooded backyard, front yard, and Sleepy Creek. This comfortable space is perfect for bird-watching or stargazing and includes amenities such as a small space heater and a flat-screen TV.

The cabin offers a double deck at the back of the home with ample seating for relaxation and enjoyment throughout the day. The main deck adjacent to the living room features a small propane fire table and a gas grill. Below, there is another deck with additional seating and a porch swing, creating a perfect spot for savoring a hot drink in the winter or a glass of rosé while watching the sunset.

Simple Pleasures is located at the end of a dead-end road, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment. As a Certified Wildlife Habitat area, the cabin promotes the preservation and appreciation of nature. The nearest trailhead, Devils Nose Trail through Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management, is just an 11-minute drive away, offering an opportunity for outdoor exploration.
