Property sits on 7 acres with 1/2 mile of groomed walking trails. Three bedrooms, 3 full baths, full kitchen. Sleeps up to 6. RV hook-up available for $30/day. Roku TVs. Exercise/fitness room. Come with friends and family to enjoy a secluded weekend entirely on site, or mix up the fun with close-by beaches, hiking/biking trails, fruit farm tours and more.

Weekend Stay

We stayed at this location for the Madeline Island Marathon, and it was a lovely house! Very close proximity to the ferry to Madeline Island. Large open kitchen was nice as well and everything was very clean.

Great location to both Bayfield and Big Top Chautauqua. Super clean and very well provisioned kitchen. Great beds, huge bathrooms. Undoubtedly the nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in!

Exploring with friends

Location and accommodations were great for exploring entire area from kayaking to hiking Meyers Beach area. In the middle of the “Fruit Loop” for fresh fruit and jams.

Apostle Island visit/ Bayfield visit

Conveniently located right off the fruit loop farm tour and just minutes from Bayfield. We enjoyed the grand cruise and the local baked goods. House was well equipped and owner was very responsive when we had non functioning sink.

A slice of heaven

The home is beautiful, functional, and clean. The location can’t be beat. At the doorstep of Bayfield, a perfectly unspoiled little town. And some of the most beautiful scenery in the North Country. Especially loved the little forest walking paths on the property and picking wild raspberries.

Excellent Property!

This beautiful property was the perfect location for our family trip to Bayfield/Apostle Islands. The kitchen is amazing with all of the necessary kitchenware to make it feel like home. The basketball court and bunk beds with lights were a hit with the teenagers. This is the cleanest house we have ever stayed in and the property owners checked in often. Would definitely recommend for a worry free and enjoyable getaway!

Pleasant family gathering place

Khou and Pao were such gracious and kind hosts. Communication was excellent. Check in and out was easy. My family was gathering for a funeral and it was a beautiful home to gather, both inside and outside. The large kitchen was especially handy. There were plenty of books for kids, which was nice.

Great family getaway

The property was great and Khou checked in to make sure things were going well. He even dropped off paper towels when we ran out! We enjoyed playing in the backyard, kitchen had everything we needed, and common areas were great to spend time with family. The house was one of the cleanest VRBOs we have stayed at. We would stay there again. Thank you Khou for sharing your place with us.

Bayfield Fall Weekend

Loved it! Very clean home and beautiful property a short distance from town. The boys loved the bunk bed with colorful lights and the outdoor basketball court! House was clean, organized and has everything we needed. Would recommend.

Nice country house

This was great! We had a family trip with three couples - each had their own bedroom/bathroom space and plenty of nice shared space for us to spend time together. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved stargazing in the huge backyard! Thanks Pao & Khou!!

Bunk bed and basketball

It was great! Lots of room! My 5 year old was ecstatic to get his first bunk bed sleep and my 2.5 year old loved that mom could lift him up so he could “slam dunk” the basketball!

A Wonderful “Summer House”

The Summerhouse was the perfect vacation gathering spot for 6 adults and 5 grandkids (under 8). It was less than 5 minutes from downtown Bayfield. The home was absolutely beautiful and laid out perfectly, with a separate living quarters (bedroom & bathroom) for each family group. The backyard was fenced in with basketball court and slab for chalk art, a large patio set, A space to play T-ball, a screened building. We also found a fun maze in the woods which gave the kids a chance to run around. Parking was ample and the building is solar powered. There was a small bees nest under the deck and Pao was very responsive - removing it within 30-minutes of being contacted. We would definitely recommend the Summer House and would stay there in the future.

We are Pao and Khou. We have been year-round residents of Bayfield since 2012 when Khou started working for the Red Cliff Tribe. We love Bayfield and its surrounding communities very much and hope to live here the rest of our lives.

We love that it's secluded but still accessible to everything. The stars at night are absolutely breathtaking.
