Step inside and enjoy this clean, updated cottage less than a minute from the lake! Cozy, relaxing you'll never want to leave! Plush carpet in the bedrooms and new wood flooring in the living and kitchen area. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to fix a meal right here. Comfortable, open living space with a fully covered back deck and front porch for relaxing. Full bathroom with with bath/shower combo. Get out and enjoy the area, book and you'll also have access to 2 PADDLEBOARDS!
The space
Fully relax in a very cozy cottage, the decor is welcoming and comfortable. You'll find everything you need in this cottage.
Guest access
You will have full access to all rooms of the cottage, enjoy relaxing on the front porch and back porch as well!
Other things to note
New in 2022, we've added an updated driveway to the cottage so that parking is no issue. You'll find easy access to the cottage right from the small driveway. Pulling a boat? No problem, you'll easily be able to pull and park along the drive. Exit is easy as the road loops around and exits at Fat Eddie's (restaurant). The cottage is conveniently located one mile from Summersville Lake ( Battle Run Recreation Area), 1/2 mile from the Upper Gauley River rafting and Kayaking put-in and 17 miles from the New River Gorge National Park

Place is adorable well equipped kitchen. Clean home feeling loved the porches played cared out on the back one eat meals out on back porch overall great experience will revisit anytime we are coming through and it is available

Wonderful cottage.

This cottage was so neat and tidy. Very relaxing on the back deck. Could not have asked for anything more, and if ever in the area again, will check to see if this is available.

Wedding vacation

The location was very close to family and the wedding venue. We had to make a last minute change to our stay due to the hurricane in Florida and the changes went smoothly. Bonus, we got to see the aurora borealis while we were there!

Perfect location for exploring the area

The cottage was clean and very well stocked with amenities (saved us those trips to the store for forgotten items). We loved having the option to relax on the front porch, back deck or by the fire. The stand-up paddleboards were a perfect option for the Battle Run recreation area. We would definitely stay again.

Exactly What We Needed

Cute cottage just off the road one minute from Long Point Grill. Paddle boards were a great add. There was many of the little things we needed available like Shampoo, washer pods, fire wood. Absolutely would stay again. Check in, check out, and house rules were all very relaxed and reasonable.

Great location

The cottage is very clean and thoughtfully stocked with household essentials. Generous supply of fluffy, white bathroom towels. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck after hiking and kayaking. Fire pit in the evening was a bonus! Close to local restaurant, ice cream, and the Long Point Overlook.

This very well maintained Home had everything you needed. It was extremely clean and well appointed. there was a nice back porch to relax and visit. There was a lovely back porch where you could sit and visit. Close to hiking and boating. Owners were excellent with communication and were very helpful at the end of our trip when we had a small issue with our vehicle. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful stay on the Lake

What a wonderful property and experience! This nice, clean, fully appointed cottage had everything my friend and I needed to enjoy a quick reunion on the lake. We especially loved having the firewood and fire pit, grill, stand up paddle boards, full kitchen, and zero-g deck chairs with a beautiful view. It was extremely close to the best part of Summersville Lake and the dam release for the Gauley river. We agree - we hope to meet back up for next reunion!

Fantastic

This property provided everything you need and the location to the lake was fantastic. The owner provided a wonderful selection of bedding and everything was very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked, you won't miss a thing. Extremely helpful and a great front and back porch with plenty of seating. Would highly recommend and will come back again.

Lake getaway

Very impressed with the affordability, the close proximity to lake, restaurants, activities. The host provided a clean, comfortable and well stocked house! The front and back porch were very welcoming as well as the fire pit and grill. The paddle boards were fun and much appreciated! A nice place to stay and chill or sleep and seek out all of the nearby adventures and sightseeing, perfect location for fun and convenience!

The unit was available for us on time. Unit is very clean and all essential were in the unit. Location makes it very convenient to Summersville Lake especially the Battle Run Area. Very nice.

Amazing property!

The house was so clean and conveniently located to the lake, shopping, and restaurants! All the little extras that came with the house made our visit so easy! The house was fully equipped with even more necessities than I had planned. The owners are very considerate and stocked all the little things a guest may need for incidentals (Tylenol, toothbrushes, toothpaste, seasonings, coffee….). Just an unexpected sweet gesture! I will definitely stay here again next stay! This place deserves 10 stars!

Sparkling clean and well equipped home!

We were only able to stay for two nights, but this home had everything we needed- we were so grateful to be able to wash a load of laundry, cook a few meals easily, have ice In freezer and a very very clean place to stay. Extra blankets, fans and ac; gorgeous views from the home and excellent location for adventures! We pulled a uhaul trailer for toys and were pleased to be able to park in driveway with some extra skills on my husbands part- WV is gorgeous and loved the scenic and windy roads, hiking, and this time- white water rafting woth Adeventires on the Gorge- ask for Doug! He was so perfect- all day river fun and then a super comfortable place to go home to afterwards! Thank you for hosting us so graciously! ~ the Morgan’s

Cozy

We enjoyed this small cabin, it was perfect for 2 or 4 people. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading. Pam couldn't have been any nicer. We wanted to check out the lake, but didn't realize that they drain it after Labor Day. So we just spent a relaxing couple of days there. If you go, check out Alfredo's restaurant. Their subs and pizza are delicious.
