Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The primary bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and large windows overlooking the woods. It also includes a private en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate walk-in shower and two separate vanities.

Two additional bedrooms on the main floor offer comfortable accommodations—one with a king bed and another with two twin beds, making it perfect for families or friends. These rooms share a nearby bathroom with a sparkling tub/shower.

Downstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms, one with a king bed and another with two queen beds and a crib. The shared bathroom between these two rooms offers a double vanity and another walk-in shower.

All bedrooms come with luxury hospitality-grade mattresses and linens to ensure restful nights. Each room is equipped with a Chromecast TV.

Complimentary allergy free and eco-friendly toiletries like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in each bathroom along with hairdryers for guest use.

Kitchen & Lounge
The open-concept kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, including a whisper-quiet dishwasher, toaster, oven, stove, and microwave. A drip coffee pot and Keurig are provided along with a starter supply of Door County Coffee K-Cups and individual coffee packets.

The spacious dining area is perfect for group meals and at home game nights.

The main living area on the first floor centers around a gas fireplace with plush seating, creating a warm and inviting space. A large flat-screen SmartTV is mounted above the fireplace for cozy movie nights.

Just off the living room, a secondary leisure room offers soft seating —ideal for relaxing, reading, or enjoying time with friends and family.

Outdoor Space
Starkhaus is nestled in a quiet, wooded area just off of the main drag of downtown Sister Bay. The two-level deck is perfect for sipping morning coffee while taking in the fresh air. The fire pit area is a guest favorite, with Adirondack chairs and roasting sticks for making s’mores while enjoying a night under the stars.

Starkhaus has external security cameras monitoring the driveway and fire pit area for safety purposes.

Per Sister Bay zoning code, parking of boats, boat trailers, RVs or RV trailers on the property is not permitted. Guests must use designated public parking areas for these vehicles.

Game Room
The lower level of Starkhaus is designed for fun and conversation. With a full game room featuring a pool table, shuffleboard, and a wet bar, it’s the perfect place to hangout with your group. The additional seating area includes comfortable seating and a SmartTV, making it ideal for group gatherings.

Check-In & Check Out
At Starkhaus, we pride ourselves on providing an easy, stress-free experience. Our smart lock system generates a unique access code custom to you for a seamless self check in process for the property—no keys required. And when you’re ready to leave, simply pack up and walk out the door—no long check-out list!

After booking, you’ll be asked to sign our Rental Agreement and upload a photo ID to confirm age requirements. This home includes accidental damage protection in place of a traditional security deposit, so no refundable hold is required. Guests remain fully responsible for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
