Clean and big space. Decorated like a home away from home. Perfect location. Only thing that you could wish for is more private back yard space, but that’s being pretty critical. Would stay again.

Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the spaciousness and cleanliness of the home, the décor, and especially our location in the heart of Sister Bay. Hearing that it felt like a “home away from home” means so much to us, as that’s exactly what we’ve worked to create for our guests. For future guests, we also want to share a little more about our outdoor space. We love our beautifully landscaped, fenced backyard, with a comfortable patio that seats eight and grassy space for outdoor games, relaxing, and spending time together. Families have especially appreciated having a yard where the kids can run around and play. While the larger yard is shared, our patio and outdoor space are tucked away so that the neighboring units aren’t visible while you’re enjoying it. Being in the heart of Sister Bay, this isn’t a secluded property with acres of land, but we’re fortunate to have such a lovely outdoor space while still being so close to everything Sister Bay has to offer. Zero flaws - property was beautifully decorated and well stocked. Effectively a 4 bedroom with the two beds in bonus room above garage and the 3.5 baths really sets it apart from other higher end condos in area. Property manager / owner communication was excellent as well.

Great Place!

We had a great time! The house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for a large family to spread out! Our older kids loved the game room which was very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was spotless! We highly recommend this house!

Great rental unit! Walkable to the downtown of Sister Bay and all our favorite spots. Hosts included helpful local recommendations, which was fun to review before our stay. 3 bedrooms and a bonus space was perfect for our two families to stay for a long weekend. Pefect order of the place and one of the cleanest and best maintained VRBOs we've ever used. We played arcade games and used the backyard in our downtime. Easy to cook in the kitchen and use the outdoor grill. Would stay here again!

The home is beautiful and perfect for a friends or family trip! It’s perfectly located just a 5 minute walk from all the shops, restaurants, and water. Best ever!

Family of 6/parents with 4 young adults this was the nicest place we’ve stayed in in the 20+ years of visiting Door County. We felt pampered by our host and equally enjoyed the outdoor patio area, game room, and the great room and lovely kitchen. Forget finding parking in Sister Bay! Everything is a short walk away to restaurants, shopping and the beach.

It’s perfect!

We loved our stay! This place is even better than the photos/description. We had eight people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. It’s walking distance to the heart of Sister Bay and there are plenty of games and activities, including ping pong and video games. This house is very comfortable and well appointed, much better than other comparable places we’ve stayed at. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful Stay

We had 4 adults and 4 kids (from 4-8) staying at the "Sister Bay Gem". Beautiful condo and well equipt. Everything was clean and in good working order. Lots of small extras included that made our stay fun and worry free. Communication from the host was great and checkout procedures were very easy. We will be back again!

We enjoyed staying here and found it to be a lovely walk into downtown Sister Bay and to the nearby grocery store, with enough parking options for all of us and comfortable beds to sleep in.The space was well-stocked with games and activities, though some family members were disturbed by the Alexa device which was fairly vocal during the stay. There were plenty of power outlets and bathrooms for everyone.The kitchen does not have a coffee grinder or tea strainer, so if you bring your own whole bean coffee or looseleaf tea, make sure to grind it beforehand/bring your own steeper! Otherwise, it is very well-equipped for meals you don't go into town for, and the host does have a selection of coffees/teas that work with their machine.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home! It was perfect for our multi-generational group, with guests ranging in age from 9 to 80. There was truly something for everyone.The kids absolutely loved the upstairs game room and the games in the garage and spent hours enjoying the space. The kitchen and dining area were ideal for gathering together for meals, and we made great use of the grill throughout our stay. The yard was great for playing catch, too.The location was fantastic—an easy walk to downtown Sister Bay, restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. The house itself was spotless when we arrived and was one of the cleanest vacation rentals we've stayed in.The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Michelle and Ted were wonderful hosts - checking in before, throughout and after our stay.Overall, this home provided the perfect setting for a family getaway, and we would gladly stay here again.

That’s exactly what we hoped this home would be when we created it. For future guests, we do our very best to provide a home that feels clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with the little extras that make vacation easier. We also try to be available before, during, and after your stay if you need anything at all. We’re so glad you enjoyed the walk to downtown Sister Bay, the waterfront, restaurants, and shops—it’s one of our favorite things about the location too!
