Welcome to Camp Sideways! The perfect getaway to the Laurel Highlands. Located at Cranberry Glade Lake within State Game Lands 82 in western Somerset County, just 12 minutes from Ohiopyle State Park, 10 Minutes to Laurel Ridge State Park and 30 minutes to Youghiogheny Dam.

You`ll enjoy your stay at Camp Sideways Cabin, whether relaxing on the patio, sitting around an evening fire in the outdoor firepit or enjoying the custom bar with family and friends.

This cozy cabin is located within State Game Lands 82 just minutes from Cranberry Glade Lake, and great fishing for your next potential trophy catch! 12 Minutes to Ohiopyle State Park.

Hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, and more are mere minutes from your doorstep!

Looking to spend some quiet time at the end of an adventurous day? Camp Sideways provides 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and 1 full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your next meal. Towel and linen package is included as well.

Want to enjoy a nice warm fire after adventurous vacationing in Ohiopyle or Hunting or Fishing? Great news: your firewood is included too!

Guests have private access to the entire property

I will not be at the property during your stay. I am available as needed via the Airbnb messenger.

This cabin is located at Cranberry Glade Lake in Pennsylvania. It is located within State Game Lands 82. Ohiopyle is a short 12 minute drive.

There is no public transportation available in this area. Guests should plan to travel by car to all activities in the area.

This cabin is secluded and some cell phones may not work. Internet is satellite and can go in and out during periods of inclement weather or overcast skies.

1) Pet Rules:
- All pets require approval prior to check in
- $50 non refundable pet fee per animal
- Pets are not allowed on furniture
- Pets are not allowed in showers or bathtubs
- Pets are not allowed in pools/hot tubs
- Limit 2 pets per reservation
- Do not use provided towels to clean pets

This home is located in the woods. It is common to see wildlife such as Bears, Deer, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Snakes, Mice, etc. Occasionally, small critters will make their way inside the home. While we do our best to keep them out completely, it is possible that you may come across one. Refunds are not issued for wildlife in the home.



Swimming Pool and Hot tub Policies: If the property that you are renting has a swimming pool or hot tub, you understand that by accepting a reservation, you release Vacation Ohiopyle, Alpine Property Rentals LLC and all owners of all claims and assumption of risk.



Please be aware, we cannot guarantee the Swimming Pools or Hot tubs will be working at every check in. We are not a resort. We send service to fix problems as they arise, however, the repair company may not be able to fit us into their schedule on the same day. These amenities are included with every stay, therefore, refunds will not be given for out or service items.

GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER

Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the rules below.

Use of Property Grounds:
You understand that hiking and using the streams and creeks on the property is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from those activities and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers (slips, trips, falls, animals, insects, drowning, etc.) associated with the use of the property. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking, and use of the streams and creeks on the property. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.

Campfires:
Campfires must remain inside your fire ring, flames within reason above fire ring (NOT higher then 3 ft.).
Do not move the fire ring. Campers who move the fire ring will be immediately required to leave the property.


Noise:
Please be considerate of other guests staying at the property as well as our neighbors.
Quiet hours are from 9:00pm until 9:00am.
When returning to your Site, please be safe and considerate of your neighbors.

Children:
The property is unsupervised. Children under the age of sixteen (16) must be always supervised by a responsible adult and must be on the site they belong to every night by dusk.
Children under eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of eighteen (18) anytime they are near the creek.

Firearms/Hunting:
Firearms are strictly always prohibited on the property.
Hunting is strictly prohibited on the property.

Fireworks:
Always prohibited on the property

ATVs and Other Recreational Vehicles(Dirtbikes, SXS, etc.) :
Always prohibited on the property




























































































































SpaTowels are provided in the large closet in the bedroom to the left of the bathroom. Please do not take white towels outside of the house.

When using the fire ring, never leave fire unattended. Be sure to put fire out completely when finished.

Hot Tub Usage
- Use hot tub at your own risk. There is no life guard on duty. You are responsible for watching children. The company is not responsible for injury due to hot tub use.
- Do not put soap of any kind in the hot tub
- Shower to remove any lotions, oils or perfumes from your body before getting in the hot tub.
- if possible, put swimwear in the wash on a rinse cycle to help remove additional laundry soap that may be lingering in your swimwear.
- do not attempt to add chemicals to the water. We maintain the balance of the hot tub. If you believe there is an issue, contact us to come and check on it.
- keep the lid on the hot tub when not in use. When finished for the day and also at check out, turn the heat down to 97 degrees.
- do not stand on the cover
- do not sit on the edge



At check out
- Wash all dishes and return to their proper place in the cabinets. Don’t forget the coffee pot!
- Place all towels in the washer and turn on (soap is provided)
- Strip all used beds and leave the linens on the floor. Do not remove the mattress protector.
- Turn heat to 65 degrees
- Turn hot tub to 97 degrees

We strive to provide clean, comfortable accommodations to make your stay enjoyable. Please report any dissatisfaction with the property immediately upon check in.

This area is dependent on winter recreation and guests should be prepared with an appropriate vehicle for conditions. Refunds will not be given for weather related cancellations. Check out times will not change due to weather.

Like most hosts, we have full time jobs and children so we request that unless there is an emergency, please refrain from communication between 9pm and 7am.
