Inside, the bright open-concept layout flows from the renovated kitchen (gas range, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, shaker cabinets) into a spacious living and dining area filled with natural light from large picture windows. Original hardwood floors run throughout, giving the space a warmth that's hard to find in a rental.

Both bedrooms are set up for a genuinely good night's sleep: a king in one room, a queen in the other, with blackout shades and quality linens. The bathroom has a full tub/shower combination. A dedicated desk and high-speed Wi-Fi are on hand for anyone keeping up with work. Full-sized washer and dryer on-site.

The backyard is a highlight. A large private yard, fenced on three sides with a rock wall along the back, gives you real outdoor space that feels your own. The covered gazebo has a dining table and chairs, making it easy to eat outside, have your morning coffee under cover, or simply sit in the yard and take it all in.

Getting around:
The Burke Gilman Trail is a short drive away — one of Seattle's great multi-use trails, ideal for cyclists, runners, and walkers heading toward UW, Lake Washington, or Ballard. Dahl Field, a 15-acre park with baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a playground, skate park, and wading pool, is minutes away. Matthews Beach Park and Lake Washington are a short drive for days on the water. The Wedgwood commercial strip on 35th Ave NE has coffee, dining, and everyday errands nearby. Downtown Seattle is under 20 minutes by car.

UW campus, Seattle Children's Hospital, and UW Medical Center are all a short 10–15 minute drive — a convenient home base for visitors to any of them.

Good to Know Before You Book:
We maintain this home carefully for every guest. All bookings require a government-issued ID, signed rental agreement, and a refundable security deposit (up to $500, processed by the host). Minimum booking age: 25.

Landscaping occurs every other week and pest control monthly — we schedule these outside of guest stays whenever possible. Exterior security cameras in use for property safety. No parties and events. No smoking and no pets.
