Inside you'll find a mix of charming vintage flare, thoughtful mid- century themed furniture and a large fully renovated kitchen. Two bedrooms, two workspaces, and a spacious living and dining area create a versatile environment for all your travel needs.

The host resides locally and is available from 7am - 10pm to assist guests.

The location offers easy access to Downtown Seattle in 15-20 minutes and a short distance to ferry terminals to explore nearby Vashon or Bainbridge Islands. Seacrest Dock is just 5-mins away if you prefer to take a 10-min water taxi ride to Downtown Seattle Waterfront.

Alki blends a laid-back, beach-town atmosphere with an array of exciting restaurants, shops, and bars strewn along Alki Avenue.

The entrance to the building is shared with the middle floor apartment. An interior hallway beyond that shared entrance leads to the front entry door of this apartment.

Guests will be given a personalized door code for the duration of their stay.

The laundry room in the basement of the building is also shared with the guests of the other apartment, but each apartment has its own designated washer and dryer.

Alki Beach offers breathtaking scenery of the Seattle Skyline, Olympic Mountains and Elliot Bay. You may even spot a pod of Orcas cruising around Puget Sound during peak season.

Dip your toes in the sand, take a stroll, or bike ride along the 4 mile beachfront trail with a variety of local coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and nightlife.

There is a shared entrance into the building from the porch. A shared interior hallway leads to the apartment entrance, which then has one flight of stairs up to the apartment. Once you're up the stairs, the apartment is all one level.

An abundance of windows throughout the space provide plenty of natural light for a bright and invigorating environment.

The spacious main bedroom has a King size bed and a workspace with desk and chair. The second bedroom has a twin size bed. A convertible sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space for one more person.

An open concept living and dining area has a 45" Smart TV loaded with all the popular streaming apps for guests to log into.

The beautifully remodeled kitchen offers an abundance of quartz counter space, new stainless steel appliances, farmhouse style sink, and sleek cabinets fully stocked for culinary enthusiasts.

The full bathroom has a quirky retro vibe combined with a modern features and finishes. Here you'll find a new vanity, custom built ins for storage, two windows, and a shower/tub combo.

The West Seattle Water Taxi is the best way to get to and from downtown Seattle. Just 5 minutes drive to the Seacrest Dock off the east end of Alki Beach will take you to the Downtown Seattle Waterfront in 15 minutes. There is street side parking if you prefer to drive yourself. Downtown is about 20 minutes away, and Uber/Lyft are widely available.

*Our apartment is on the top floor of a 3 story historic home with original wood floors. The floors are are creaky in some areas.
Please be aware that you may experience creaking floors while moving about the apartment, as well as muffled sounds from guests in the apartment below.

*If a perfectly quiet accommodation with no adjacent neighbors is a must, our place may not be a good fit for your stay.

*Our home has efficient baseboards heaters in each room, but is not equipped with central air conditioning.

*A portable air conditioner is provided during warm weather months. It is installed in the living room, and can not be moved. Use the a/c unit in combination with the portable fans to circulate cool air throughout the apartment.

*During cool weather seasons, the portable a/c is stored away. Should you require the portable a/c be available during cool weather, please notify the host in advance so we can install it before you arrive.

*The laundry room is shared with the other apartment. Each apartment has their own machines, but the machines are in a common area on the basement level of the building. The laundry machines are free.
