I’m glad to find a place for my pet. And the layout of the house was very family friendly. Also I really appreciate the large kitchen and plenty of seating both indoors and out.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! It was mostly quiet, besides some road noise from the highway right behind the house. The porch swing was the perfect spot to watch the squirrels, birds, and a rather large storm that came through. We will definitely be planning another stay here!

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time. The views are absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that one of the beds is definitely leaning downhill like it may be broken. We just put our heads on the other end and rolled with it. Didn’t bother us at all.

Great Property

This was such a great property. The front yard is fenced in and it was great for our pup. We were right on the water and enjoyed sitting on the porch in the swing. I can't say enough about this property.

Amazing Property

Fantastic property, beautiful lake view, and great fishing! What a fantastic relaxing few days we had. Host is fantastic, and the property is turn key, all you really need is a change of clothes.You will love this place from the moment you walk in the door!

Great place to stay

Property was just liked described and in photos. Great access to the water, even though it was too cold for us to enjoy. The view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again when back in the area.

Daughter Birthday Vacay

This little cottage was perfect for my husband our two year old and our nephew! The host was absolutely amazing and the house was perfect for us! We could drive the boat up to the property and come and go as we pleased! The house was clean and the WiFi for bed time was great! We will definitely be back!

Great Host

Overall the host was extremely attentive and provided prompt responses to all my questions from the moment I booked! Generally the house was fine and suited our needs. However, I chose this property based on many reviews that stated the property was very clean or had 5 stars for cleanliness. I was disappointed as that wasn’t my impression. We had to wash several dishes that were not clean (albeit, these weren't plates that typically go through the dishwasher, more like pots and pans, which would be very difficult to know unless you inspected every dish upon a guests departure... so I get its not the hosts fault, but still disappointing as it wasn't just one thing). The sponge in the kitchen was used, wet and smelled. In my experience with VRBOs there is usually a new, packaged sponge waiting, or very clearly it is brand new without packaging. No clean ones under the sink to replace with either. The dishwasher was full upon arrival (clean, at least), as was the washer AND dryer. Needed dishes from the dishwasher so we unloaded. When we went to use the washer and dryer on the night before we leaving, we had two loads of towels / sheets to fold. Nothing out of the norm for Moms, but not ideal for a vacation! As I said, Latisha was extremely responsive to questions we had or things we needed, these were just some things that were disappointing for a rental that I haven't encountered in other places!

Weekend Getaway

The property was grear and Latisha was very responsive. A couple of issues caused by the weather but Latisha was great in adressing. Lovely neighborhood with very friendly residents. Will be back.

Amazing

If you are looking for a place to just get away. This is it! We had everything we needed! Our kids had a blast swimming at lake and fishing. Everything we needed was already there. The nature surrounding the property was incredible from birds to squirrels to even a few deer. Will definitely be back!!!

Relaxation with an amazing view!

We had a great long weekend! Place was super cute and very comfortable. All the amenities of home. Thanks to the owners for sharing their place with us! Hopefully we'll get the opportunity to stay again!

Nice Place but Lacking Cleanliness

First of all, the house is on a nice lot overlooking the lake, through the trees downhill. I really can't complaint about the location and the size of the property; very nice house layout and spacious enough for a large family of 5 or 6, a large uncovered outdoor deck for sitting and appreciating nature or family activities, and the uneven/downhill lot allow for spectacular views of the lake! Now, the negative things about the property, were a few items that just ruins a family's plan to enjoy their time there. As usual in this type of rental properties, management and maintenance don't seem to go hand in hand to make sure everything is taken care of, and don't make sure the place is conditioned as promised to the clients who are supposed to be paying for everything they get promised. To be specific, the house was dirty all over, not exceedingly dirty, but it was more than obvious when sitting on the couches in the living room. The bed cover of the single-bed bedroom was stained... Another major thing to note is that the garage is not in working condition; it does not open. It seems that the door has been bent and it's been left that way. Would have been useful for us, since we got there under the rain, and had to park in front of the property and haul our stuff from there, getting a bit wet during this process. I cannot list all other things, but I feel I'm owed a partial refund on this rental because the Chimney was very dirty with Ash dust; we could not use it!
