Mount Airy Mayberry Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at Helen‘s Grace! Location was great and close to everything! The house was immaculate with all new appliances and beautiful granite countertops! The beds were amazingly comfortable, and I would highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Mayberry!

Helen's Grace Haven

We came to Mount Airy to get away for Thanksgiving. Tanya was wonderful. The house was very cozy and just as described. Tanya was very responsive and addressed our needs. The house was in a great location as well. We actually kinda miss the little house now that we have returned home.

Weekend at Mayberry

We were there for the Mayberry 10K . The home was extremely nice and close to downtown and great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful

A summary is not enough to explain this house. Comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, clean, well-managed, fresh linens, washer and dryer, full kitchen with all the dishes you’ll need. Tanya checked on us to make sure check in was easy. Communicated through text. I left a book behind after checkout that was written by a friend of mine. She found it and mailed it to me. Oh let me tell you about that king size bed in the master bedroom. I slept better those two nights than I have in years! This is the place for you to rest and have peace for the week or weekend.

Highly recommend

The house was just as beautiful as pictured. Very clean and well thought out. The hosts were great as well. The house is in walking distance of main street. So much to see and to do but also an amazing house to come back and relax at. Cant wait to visit again!

55th Birthday weekend

I have been using VRBO for over 20 years and this is the best place I’ve ever found! Great communication, spotless house with everything you need, perfect location and something that is not mentioned in the description is the fact that the bed is AMAZING and the water pressure is FABULOUS! Tanya is the best! I was so surprised to find a birthday cake and card waiting for me! She even had a citronella candle and lighter so we could enjoy sitting outside in the evenings! Mt Airy is a nice as I imagined. The kindness and helpfulness from everyone we met is not something I’ve ever experienced. We most definitely will return for another amazing weekend!

This place has everything you need. They provide it all. Great little place in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Main Street. They even had a birthday cake for my husband!

Easy, relaxing atmosphere

Our stay at Helen's Grace Haven was one of the best we've had. The home was well stocked and organized, the beds were comfortable... but the star of the show was the shower! Excellent water pressure! :) Tanya was very communicative and easy to work with. No compliants!

We Stayed At Helen’s Grace Haven On August 20-22, 2024. The Home Was Absolutely Spotless, Cozy, Very Tastefully Decorated. The Beds Were Super Comfy, And The Shower Was Awesome! The Owner Was Very Quick To Respond To All Of My Questions Too! I Give It The Highest Rating! Five Stars!

Great stay in Mount Airy

We visited Mount Airy for a long weekend to visit several wineries and see the town. The house was as advertised, the kitchen was well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Location was perfect and close to everything. Very quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again in the future, perfect place for 2 couples!

Great place to stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay in Mount Airy. Tanya and Marty were great hosts – very attentive and very good with communication. The property is very close to most anything you’d want to see in Mount Airy. We highly recommend Helen’s Grace Haven!

Clean, convenient and courteous

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was immaculate. Everything was well organized, easy to find and well thought out. The location was convenient to the tourist and historical parts of Mount Airy. We enjoyed the ten or so minute walk on sidewalks through the safe, pleasant neighborhood into town and found we did not use our car except to venture out to nearby wineries and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owner was courteous, easy to work with and on top of it. Kudos!!

Of all the VRBO rentals we've used, this is number 1

Lovely clean, stocked home in a neighborhood location convenient to Main St. and major roadways. Very quiet and friendly area. We found the residents of this charming city kind, friendly and helpful. As most reviews stated, outstanding beds and a washer dryer. Tanya checked on us many times during our stay and welcomed my sister as she has decided to move to Mt Airy.

We Loved Mount Airy!

Tanya gave us great restaurant recommendations and checked on us throughout our stay. She thought of all of the details and went above and beyond! The king bed was super comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing! We didn’t want to leave. Hopefully another volleyball tournament will bring us back to this sweet town!

March, 2024 Awesome host and awesome property/location.

Visiting from Ohio. My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at Helen's Grace Haven. Tanya was the best host we have ever worked with. The check-in and check-out process was so easy. Tanya answered any questions we had, and promptly helped us with a small issue concerning the alarm system. The place was so clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen was completely stocked with coffee makers, and snacks. Tanya thinks of everything needed for a wonderful vacation. We would DEFINITELY go there again. We enjoyed Bluegrass music at the Earle Theater. I would not want any other VRBO except this one. Thanks for everything Tanya and Marty. You are awesome hosts. I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend! Our stay was in early March, 2024.
